Reviews for Vita Bella Ristorante Italiano in Zimmerman, MN
Love going here for dinner. The menu changes seasonly, and there's always something good. The wait staff is great and the... owner makes you feel like you're family. Don't forget to have dessert there too. The tiramisu awesome! Read more
I would come back here- we had dinner on the patio. We got bruschetta, calamari, shrimp scampi, a chicken baked manicotti, and... lemon ricotta cake for dessert. We really liked the pastas and the cake. The bruschetta had a ton of onions but it was good-just expected it to be more tomatoes and basil than red onion. The calamari needs a lift from lemon and maybe a differentdipping sauce- it came off a bit fishy and I probably wouldn?t get it again. The pastas were delicious! The cake needs someberries on the side I think, so I added those at home. Our server was very attentive and the quality of food was good, justwould need a few tweaks for my taste. Read more
We celebrated our 5 year anniversary here. Our server, Aurora, was amazing. The food was incredible. It was cooked perfectly and... out in a timely manner! We were given bread before our meal. Overall, everything was great! However, there was a 4% credit cardfee on our total bill. We will be back!! Read more
Awesome birthday celebration! The handcrafted cocktails were beautiful to look at and delicious to drink. We started with a... shrimp appetizer that had an awesome flavor and texture. For dinner we had the scallops, ravioli and a sausage entrée. All ofus thought our order was the best choice. We celebrated with dessert of Tiramisu, pumpkin Cheesecake and Chocolate cake. Theservice was gracious and attentive. A wonderful discovery and will return on a future visit to Zimmerman! Read more
A work colleague of mine highly recommended this restaurant stating it was the best Italian food he has ever had. We finally... tried it and found the food authentic but a bit pricey. Not sure if this type of restaurant will do well in Zimmerman. Theservice was good and great atmosphere. Read more
Really great authentic Italian food! Service was great and attentive, waters refilled when low, drinks took a bit to come to... the table, but not a huge deal. I even received a small shooter of leftover drink that didn't fit in my glass! We ordered themeatball antipasti and the house salad to start. The meatballs were super tender and had great flavor, house salad wasamazing! I had the flaming risotto which was cooked in lobster stock and had spinach, asparagus, mushrooms, shrimp, and parmesanon top; it was amazing! My companion ordered the Bolognese pappardelle which had fresh pappardelle and the sauce was rich andflavorful. Dessert consisted of mocha tiramisu and it was light, flavorful, and delicious! Great addition to the north metrodining scene! Read more
Hostess chewing gum like a four year old was our first impression. The tables are so SMALL and cramped together because the... restaurant itself is way too small. We struggled with the menu because we don?t like seafood and it?s in almost everything. Wetried the ?famous? nachos and there was so little meat or sauce it was so disappointing- plenty of peppers though to make itlook pretty. It?s essentially fried wonton wraps with cheese sauce/Italian sausage. Hubby ordered a braised sirloin that wasactually watered down sauce/noodles and I kid you not- ONE!! tiny piece of steak lol. I ordered Cannelloni that was burnt on topand raw in the center. Portions are laughable for the $$$ but on huge plates so you don?t notice. When we asked to speak to amanager, we were told that meals are not cooked to order and the braised sirloin was basically in a huge pot. Service was meh.You will not even get salt and pepper, or grated cheese. Overall the experience was memorable, in that we would never try itagain, or recommend it. Read more
The service was impeccable. The whiskey sour, delish. I had the shrimp scampi linguine, amazing. The music was light and fitting... for the resturant. 10/10 would recommend. Read more
