My family has been regular customers of this location since they opened, probably 3 times per month, even during the pandemic. ... It used to be really, really good. Over the last year or so, the food has went downhill, menu options have been removed (theyused to have a great salad and spicy chicken sandwich), prices have increased (to the point it just isn?t worth it), and theservice has steadily declined. Tonight I couldn?t tell if the young man taking our order was getting an attitude with my wife,or if he really didn?t know what she was asking about (something simple she has gotten before here). Then I watched the cookspreparing the food eating as they cooked while we were ordering (I?m not that guy but I didn?t think it was appropriate whilecooking). The food was so-so at best tonight, as it has been the last few times we?ve been there for dinner. Lunch does seemto be better, as we go there some at work. I know it?s tough to keep employees-maybe it is a management issue? We?ll probablystill go to the one on the island, or the one in Yulee, as they seem to still be ok. Can?t say that we will be back to this onefor a while unless we?re with others who want to go. Read more
Tasty burgers, delicious tots & friendly service. A great spot to stop at after riding. Next door to Carvel Ice Cream :)
It?s ran by children and the manager is only the manager because her sister is the owner. Not qualified to run a fast food... restaurant, her leadership style would not afford her a job anywhere else. There have been many safety and security violationsthat have been reported but not corrected. I would recommend the owner actually care about developing their team members andhiring quality instead on quantity. The employment turnover is a reflection of the poor ownership and leadership. Staff was friendly and there wasn't a like so ordering was pretty quick. Given the good amoun of people in there for a lunch... rush, our food came out pretty quickly. Plenty of seating available inside as well as a few tables by the front door, and someshaded picnic tables to the side of the building as well. Food was yummy as expected and comparable to other locations aswell. I'll be moving to the area in a few months so I'll definitely be back. Read more
We went in looking at the shakes in this poster (bottom right), boy what a mistake! While they tasted ok, they were not even... close to how they look in the picture. Ordered an Oreo and a strawberry, they both looked like Vanilla! Prices were outrageousfor the food we were served. Ordered onion rings, apparently they were out of the sauce it comes with so I had to pay 79c for asauce. The worst part is, we never even got the sauce and when we almost finished eating the rings, I realized we never got thesauce so I went up and told the girls about it, they just said sorry and that's it... What kind of service is this?? At leastrefund me my 79c!! We ordered cheesy dogs and they were tiny little things (size of a breakfast Sausage), I thought they gave mekids' cheesy dogs and asked the girls to which I got the 'all our hot dogs are the same size', which makes me wonder why evenbother having a kids size meal at all if that's the case?? Good food, and if you're on the road this makes a great stop. Service is friendly, the restaurant is clean (and so are the... toilets!). Honestly, I found the tater-tots to be the best I can remember having, and Tasty's will give you a whole big bag oftots that are all crispy and potato-y and not at all soggy. Yum! If you can't tell, it's my pick for best thing on the menu.I'll be the outlier here and say the shakes were just okay -- very simple Hersey's chocolate syrup shakes, and the burgers kindof sit in the middle between my shake opinion and my tater tot opinion. They're good, salty and soft enough, and make for one ofthe better lunch choices you can make. Also, the outside area is just fab. Eat outside of the weather permits! Read more
I wanted to try this place out again. My husband and I was not disappointed. We went to the one, further up the road the,... first time. But this place, knock it out the park. Everything was delicious. And that turkey patty was to die for. My husbanddidn't want any bread. And sauce on the side. Oh boy!!!! It was hot and delicious.... We order 2 more patties. They have greatcustomer service on top it. For the first time since the virus. My husband and I actually had a chance to sit outside and enjoya meal. With there great atmosphere. Read more
After driving for 10 hours I checked into the hotel and they referred me to Tasty's for dinner. I'm very glad they did. Big... Mike, back in the kitchen, cooked up one heck of a great burger. I also had some Parmesan covered french fries which I had neverhad that before. Also, very very good. Everyone in the store was polite, we had great conversation and I went back to my hotelroom with a full belly. If you want a really good burger cooked by human people, I can recommend Tasty's.
