Reviews for La Casita Azul in Yucca Valley, CA
Fast friendly service and food was super delicious. The only reason I won't give it a 5 star is because it was a bit dirty and... the tables sticky. The restroom was quite dirty frankly and it was not that busy when we arrived. The staff is friendly but theytake too long in the service area. Refills take a many reminders and you do have to pay more if you want more chips and salsa.Their horchata is super delicious. Honestly everything we order was delicious. Read more

We found the food to be really good! Flavorful and very tasty. Probably some of the best fajitas I've ever had. The main issue... was our waitress. Terrible!!!! Read more
Really yummy. A place with simple decor and lots of seating. Busy when I was there but staff were polite and atentive and food... was worth the wait. An excellent Skinny Margarita that was just the right amount of sweet, tart and salty. The limes were handsqueezed to order really adding that fresh pop a good margarita has. Fresh homemade mild salsa and chips were free and great.Asked for spicy salsa and was brought two types a hot and medium one. Both were some of the most flavorful salsa I?ve ever had. These alone are worth it. Shrimp ceviche was simple maybe a tad too much but all ingredients were fresh and shrimp was plump andnot at all mushy. When eaten with the salsa it was nock out. The fish dish was excellent. Pipping hot and onions and peppersactually cooked great (often on the skillets they are burnt yet still nearly raw but these must have been par cooked or cookedslower as they were cooked just right). Definitely recommend! Read more
We ran into a problem trying to get to this restaurant because they had recently moved and Google Maps still had the old... location. We arrived around 5 pm on a Friday night and the restaurant was already mostly full. After reading the reviews, wewere expecting great food. Unfortunately, all the dishes that we ordered (Chile Colorado, Carnitas Michocan, steak fajitas, andfish tacos) were very bland and the pico de gallo was disproportionately chopped onion. Even my daughter who doesn't like spicyfoods said the food needed more flavor. On the plus side, the portions were large and the meat quality was good. Read more
After a long day in the dust at King of Hammers we needed a solid meal before turning in for the night. Sooooo glad we stopped... in! We got there just in time before a rush. Drinks were delicious and the food was absolutely amazing!!!! We eat our fair shareof Mexican food and this was by far the most authentic tasting!! If we ever come back to this neck of the woods we will stopback in!! Read more
This was my first time at the new location. Food was really good, the hostess was friendly, and our waitress was very... attentive. The only reason for giving 3 stars is that it still kinda has that Denny?s feel to it (this building used to be aDenny?s). I think they?d need to replace those diner style booths with regular tables if they really wanted to improve thevibe. Read more
