I called to get information on booking their venue. The owner asked if I was Hispanic and seriously stereo typed. He was very... rude and said he would be charging more than $2,000 because he knows Hispanics are messing and won?t pick up after themselves.If he?s had bad pasting experience that sucks but not ALL Hispanics are the same. I was there to DJ a wedding reception. The venue is beautiful, the staff is wonderful and the food is amazing. I do wish the DJ... booth area was a little bigger, but that does not detract from this great establishment. Read more

Very nice Thanksgiving Dinner. Served all the favs (well, except cranberry sauce)! All was delicious & a very nice selection of... desserts at the end. Decorated for the holiday which made it festive. The owner went around greeting everyone & servers wereattentive but not hovering. All in all, very nice!? Read more

First time visiting was by the recommendation of a friend. We were very attended to and the owner is very involved even on the... floor. The food was amazing and they even crafted an item for us which wasn't on the menu. The French dip was sliced fromphone rib. My parents came in for mothers day so we went back. Food was still good except kids Mac and cheese had a dry cheeseflavor that my son didn't like. The owner is amazing he came out and talked to my family. He took out 3 kids back to the kitchen and shows them around. And then... have them each a pack of gum when we left. The food was amazing. The appetizer came out pretty fast. The food took a little bitbut it was worth the wait! Read more

With new ownership comes change, and the Refuge has made some positive ones. The ambience was more modern with clean lines and... modern art on the walls and the menu has been updated which it needed. The execution however needs improvement, the staff seemeddisinterested and aloof. The food was ok, the salmon tasted frozen and the rice was cold. I did not visit the bar, but it seemedthat's where the party was at. Will be willing to give another try. Read more
