We ate here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Servers pay more attention to locals than travelers. Experienced it more on the... breakfast shift. You're chefs are doing a great job. Good food! Only had one problem with your bowl of chili: there wasn't enough! It was... yummy. All of the portion sizes for our other meals were perfect or a little more than we needed which is what a lot of usAmericans like when we go out to eat. We want to feel like we got our money's worth. Food was excellent. Ate there four times while in the area. Breakfast was the best. But dinner was very good. Suggest you try... everything that is their unique to the Black Bear Dinner item. Stopped in for a lite dinner at the Black Bear Diner in Yreka and what can I say oh my dinner was so good. Ordered a Club... Sandwich, wheat bread and not Toasted. Told the waitress, wanted it lite so she suggested to leave the middle slice of breadoff. Perfect idea! Side was sweet potato fries. It was oh so good! Totally recommend Black Bear Diner! Tuna Salad was so so good. I just used Red Wine Vinegar as the dressing, ohhhh it was so good. It really filled me up. Thank you... to the Owners, Cooks, Waitresses, Dishwasher & all Crews.
