Probably some of the best ramen I've had in Toronto. I ordered the black smoky garlic ramen with chicken broth and soy sauce.... Everything in the dish was absolutely perfect - the soy sauce surprisingly mixed very well with the garlic to create asweet/spicy broth that tasted really good with the chicken. The server was also super sweet and gave us discounts at the end ofour meal (owing to a very small error in our order). My friend ordered an ultimate spicy creamy mushroom ramen, which was alsoperfectly made. The ambience here made me feel like I was in the movie Tampopo, eating out of a delicious bowl of ramen.Overall, a very wholesome lunch. Would definitely visit again! Read more

Service was great. I got the spicy ramen which has all its ingredients preset which makes it easy for ordering. On a scale of... 1-10 this ramen sits at a 2 on the spiciness scale. For people who like heat I?d recommend the extra spicy ramen that theyoffer. Read more

Was actually going back to Ikkousha Ramen a few doors down but it was closed (was about 3pm so between lunch and dinner service... I suppose). Gave Touhenboku a try as they were open and certainly glad we did! We tried the spicy ramen (pictured), shio, misoveggie, and black garlic. All were delicious and very authentic - noodles were chewy (I liked the thicker ones more), all brothswere so flavourful and tasty, and char shiu was tender and on point. Will be back for more and to try some appetizers and curryrice dishes! Read more

The Shio ramen was very good! Had a great chicken flavor, not too salty which I prefer. The noodles had good bite and the egg... was still slightly runny which I love. I would definitely have this again if I'm in the area and craving chicken ramen. Note: Itook this to go and ate it back at the hotel about 5 mins away so the lighting on ramen is a bit off Read more

Small chain restaurant that is a contender to major ramen establishments. Recommend: adding ?Meat Lover? to any of the ramen,... there is value and, more importantly, it?s good. Pleasantly surprised to see a variety of ?chasiu? available, the appetizerplatter is a great way to try all 3, though it?s better to wait for the ramen to enjoy it. The thick noodles aren?t as goodhere. Good service, modern decor. Read more

Stopped in with some friends before a concert. Ended up getting the chicken karaage and the black garlic ramen. Both were... amazing, especially the ramen. The broth was so flavourful and the meat was amazing. Will definitely be back again! Read more

Legitimate and authentic tasting ramen (except there's more meat than you'd usually get in Japan, but who'd complain about... that?) The noodles were perfectly al dente and they had the correct shape for each ramen type (e.g., tonkotsu used angel hairinstead of "regular" ramen noodles, etc). Gyoza was perfect too. I will definitely go back and I'll definitely bring friends! Read more

Tried ramen, gyoza, tofu with kimchi, and tokoyaki. Food was ready in quick 10-15 minutes, and delicious. Will definitely visit... them again when back in Toronto! They also have a few spots facing chefs which gives a great opportunity to see how your foodcomes together ???? It's also surrounded by dozens of other restaurants, bars, motels, hotels, which makes the locationperfect. The staff from chefs to waitresses were positive and welcoming. GO! Read more
