I ordered rib tips here a couple of years ago and they were decent. I ordered the rib tips today and they were TERRIBLE. Just... dry pieces, not trimmed, over seasoned and the rub they used sucked. What the hell happened!? I won't be going back again. Read more
Over 2 hours waiting for our food. The food never came. The waiter ?checked ? on our food 3 times, but never updated us on the... status. Waiter said he would take the food off the bill. Bill came and it was still on there. I told him I just wanted to closeout and he said he would take food off again, 20 mins later it never came. We left. I?d leave a 0 if I could. The live band wasgreat though. Update: replying to the owner. It was today 10/23 from 1-3:30. He was our waiter before he went to work behindthe bar. This place is very cool and love the outdoor area set up easily had a couple hundred people there last night.
Three stars is generous. Great facility which looks like a real Southern BBQ shack with a similar atmosphere and decor. Right... on the Fox River with a huge outdoor biergarten including two separate bar areas (one covered) and picnic tables. Good venuefor live music. Awful service. Seemed short-staffed. Older waitress, who was working hard but struggling and clearlyfrustrated to serve almost 20 tables and all food orders, while younger waitresses stood in unproductive groups talking atlength, indicates no manager on duty. Only BBQ on a summer weekend was a small cold serving of pulled pork with what tastedlike small sides that had not been freshly prepared. Only other thing on the menu was broasted chicken. One bartender wasclearly stoned out of her gourd, taking 20-30 minutes to serve a beer to only four people at the back bar. Little BBQ or freshsides at a BBQ joint?. Needs a call to Bar Rescue. Service and food left much to be desired. The worst part however was the bathrooms, if I would have seen the condition of them... prior to eating, we would not have dined at this establishment. So disgusting. Read more

Nice place to take the whole family. Clean and friendly atmosphere. I had the jerk chicken sandwich that was cooked perfectly.... Not spicy at all but a little sweet with the cheesy potatoes. The quesadillas were an appetizer and very large. Large portionswith good prices. Read more
It was? okay? not the best not the worst. Not good but okay. BBQ sauce was a selection of 3 sauces with 1 only being remotely... good. The food was fine but I felt like I tasted so much vinegar in their pickles, coleslaw, bbq sauce. Their Mac n cheese andcheesy potatoes definitely tasted processed and not fresh. I don?t think I would go back, but if you?re hungry and want a cookedmeal for about $12.99 per person this place will suffice. Read more
