Not sure where to start but I'll try my best to put into words how great this coffee shop is! First, Crane uses high quality... ingredients and it's evident the second you take a bite or take a sip. It takes the experience to the next level. Secondly,they are very family friendly and kid friendly. Kids play area, a space for event hosting, and an overall clean and relaxingspace. Oh, and free wifi! Can't beat it. Third, the staff are top notch. This is the first coffee shop I've gone to where theyactually remember me! There are countless reasons I'm a return customer and it's nice to know they remember theircustomers. They also host special events and dinners, my husband and I attended a valentine's dinner and it was just lovely!Missed the paint night but hoping they host another so I can attend. I love to sit here with friends or family and just chat.Catch up on life and enjoy each other's company. Their specialty drinks are on point, and the salad I ordered today was amazing! So fresh and delicious!! Only suggestion, if the... salad would have had glazed almonds and pecans as a substitute for regular almonds and pecans, it would have been next level! Great place to grab a coffee and have a sit with your kids in tow. Truly one of the few coffee stops I have found that had a... good set up for kids. That said, bring your ear plugs. Gets a little loud. I'm not sure how long they have been here but alittle more cohesion in vision maybe. Felt like 2 different places. Had a cortado. Always appreciate when I can order itwithout explaining it's make up. Read more
Persnickety crane is my favorite breakfast place by far. While they're slightly pricey the food and atmosphere makes up for it.... The acai bowls are incredible and literally look like something out of a magazine. I like the Hawaiian immunity bowl which iswhat I got on the picture. The breakfast burrito is also really good and you can sub avocado for meat if you are vegetarian.Their coffee is always incredible too. Read more
We LOVE it here! It has been the best place to enjoy a beautiful cup of coffee and catch up with my thoughts, a friend, my... family or a hobby that I need to make time for. The food, especially the desserts, is so good and made with care. Every bit ofthis place is thought out carefully for presentation, experience and atmosphere. My kids look forward to coming here, too. Theycan play nearby while I sip a lovely beautifully made coffee or enjoy sitting with me while we talk or build a puzzle. Thequality is impeccable. We look forward to coming here as often as we can and that has been such a blessing to our family. I LOVE this place! The atmosphere is friendly, bright, and open. The drinks and food are delicious - as well as homey. Dining in... comes in real cups and plates. Great place to study, meet with friends, work, or relax. This is my favorite spot on thepeninsula. Anytime my friends visit from out of town, we come here! Read more
Super awesome coffee shop - hands down the best, highest quality coffee in Hampton Roads, as seen from firsthand work experience... and observation of other coffee shops. No other place scrutinizes this much over coffee, and if you?re looking for top-notchcoffee of any variety, this is your place. Service is excellent, and the food is also pretty great - they have extremelycreative, unique, and healthy items you legitimately won?t find anywhere else, and local pastries that are always fresh. Theshop itself has a very modern, millennial vibe, and is extra family friendly with a kids play area and specialty kids menu. Mostof the time it is an especially relaxed environment. The decoration and furniture variety borders on hectic, however strikes aneloquent balance of unique, homey, modern class (many adjectives, I know). Only real downside I have with this shop is that itis pretty expensive; drinks are all around $5 and if you get a meal you?ll probably be spending around $15-20, so it?s hard toenjoy this cafe as much as I?d really like. Overall though, I would definitely recommend the Crane Cafe - there?s really noother place like it in Hampton Roads. Read more
