I always eat at the local place. EFF Corporate food. So here I am at Isaac's because I'm in York! It's a really nice place. The... sandwich selection is really broad and seems very delicious. I had the mallard delivered to my hotel. Very nice, then. I had theroast beef on rye, I'm sorry I don't remember the fancy bird name, which is fun by the way. An added Plus is the wonderful porchout back with an awning and a little stream and everything! Interesting architecture. I wonder if it used to be like a minimall? Just those guys there now though. Always a great place to get a sandwich and bread bowl, one of my favorites actually. I love the Shrike (they use bird names for... sandwiches), which is a cranberry almond chicken salad sandwich along with tomato soup. Good stuff! Plus if it's a nice day youcan sit outside and enjoy the scenery, while you eat. Read more

Used this location to cater a business group meeting yesterday. Very easy to place an order over the phone, and they arrived... with all the food and drinks exactly on time. Every Isaac's I've ever been to has had great food and this was no exception -it's a nice alternative to the common business working lunch of ordering a stack of pizzas that will have everyone fallingasleep in 30 minutes. The ultimate sandwich platter and the pasta salad were huge hits. Only comment I'd make is I ordered anamount that was supposedly enough to feed 20 people, and the 11 people in our group finished everything. So the recommendedportions may be a bit on the small side, something to keep in mind for catered orders. Read more

I would?ve given this location five stars if it wasn?t for the painfully slow service at the end of our visit. It did fill up... and was packed by the time we got to that point. We love Issacs for the pepperjack tomato soup. We also enjoy the cheese curdsand yummy pickles. I always get Genoa salami and provolone on large French bread. It is one of the ?make your own?sandwiches. The food was excellent and perfectly cooked on this visit . The food came out in a short amount of time and waswell spaced out between the soup and appetizer. It was after the food was served that our waitress disappeared and it tookforever to get finished so we could leave. We actually flagged down another employee. Read more
