Ordered via Uber Eats...expensive with fees etc. Order delayed x 4 confirmed drivers. So drivers some on bikes had to cancel... after getting there to discover still not ready. Seems crazy...order received, claim prepared and answered but delay for pick upby 2 hours. They told driver not pushing uber orders. Such terrible treatment to customers and the driver who just wanted todo his job!!! They canceled courier pick up Shame on you. Read more
This spot has always been my go-to restaurants for a quick and yummy meal!! the workers there accommodate your dietary needs as... I have celiac disease!!! Reading these reviews are hilarious, someone with an anonymous review page literally complained thatthey ordered a hot chicken sandwich, and got a hot chicken sandwich LOL! I ordered for take out a "Hot Chicken Sandwich" as in "Nashville Hot Crispy Chicken Sandwich" on their website. This is what... they gave me instead. It is certainly not hot. I don't see a single hint of spice in it. Later I called and they told me the HotChicken Sandwich is off the menu. Well if it's off the menu you should 1. take it off your website and 2. let your customer knowit's off, instead of just giving them something they didn't order (and not on the menu either!) Read more
I go to many Swiss chalet stores and to be honest they each have their issues. So when a friend suggest Swiss Chalet again I was... rather hesitant. Anyway I gave in and we went to a very very nice one at 949 Eglinton ave west. What a surprise the food waspiping hot and so fresh. The manager Brian came over and asked how we enjoying our meal. I said it was one of the best meals Iever had. The food was delicious. The service was impeccable. Everyone smiled and were happy to be serving us. My wife and I stopped at Swiss Chalet as our first meal in Canada(it was a long day, and this place was right down the street... from our hotel). The prices were higher than expected, but we were there already, and pretty hungry. I ordered the chicken, sheordered the fish. We also ordered a side of pierogies. The staff was very pleasant and helped us through the menu. The chickenwas as good any other chain restaurant (but better than fast food). The fish was also pretty decent. The pierogies were good,not great(but I'm not big on pierogies). If I were here for a longer trip. I may stop in again. It's not quite worth a returnvisit within a week, but certainly worth trying. A great take out location. Not ideal for dining in, but at least the view of the construction and subsequent traffic can be... calming of you're not driving in it. Read more
