Went here a ton of times in the past to order takeout for my family and other people that were not in line?let alone in the... building got to be served before I did. So service was not good. The folks cooking also were rude and I found the chicken to beextremely dry last time I went. Read more
Like other reviewers have said: if you are not Portuguese DO NOT GO HERE, you mine as well be invisible. I've been here a few... times over the years and it's the same routine every time, nobody behind the counter will even give you the time of day if youcan't speak Portugese. What's frustrating is that all of the staff do speak English, they just have a policy to ignorecustomers who don't speak Portugese. A competitor caught wind of this policy and opened up directly across the street fromCosta Verde (the competitor is called Galo Do Sardinha) and Galo seems to have now captured all of the local business. I thinkCosta Verde is on the verge of closing as this competitor seems to be crushing them. Galo now seems very busy all the time andCosta Verde looks like a ghost town. Read more
The chicken is very good, as is the rice and potatoes. This is a busy place so there can be a wait sometimes but it is well... worth it. Personally, the bbq chicken is the tastier option compared to the rotisserie chicken but that is personal preference. Read more
Best Portuguese chicken in town. Along with the amazing taste and good sized chicken, they load up the sides (rice and potatoes)... that taste just as great. It's been my go to for Portuguese chicken for the last 20+ years. Read more

The chicken is excellent. The potatoes are good. But what does it cost you? As an Asian person, a little bit of my dignity.... Service is cold, everybody else seems to know where to wait and when to approach. Food took forever, so we were all waiting fora fresh round of chicken. Used to love ordering here. From now on, I'll send a Portuguese friend to get it bc this was a lousyexperience. Read more
