Always a blast at the Rough with family and friends! We had the whole belly clam roll, scallop roll with homemade chips and... fries. I also had a cup of clam chowder. Food was hot delicious and served in 5 mins. The country band was great. Plenty to do. Horseshoe pits and bocce courts are a plus.. We danced and drank the night away. We are from Texas and wanted some fresh steamed clams. They were awesome. The service was great. Later in the day we thought we... left our credit card there. The manager went above expectations to try to find it, even calling our waitress. Long story short,we left it at a place yesterday. I really put them through a lot and the manager never lost his cool and did everything to tryto help. Conclusion this place has good food, cold beer, and are very very very honest people.Thanks again, we highlyrecommend!!!! Read more

Have nothing but great things to say about The Rough. The atmosphere is so fun and lively. There is music, corn hole and other... games that the whole family can enjoy. The food is also fantastic and there is a huge variety of options. I had my wedding herelast summer and they truly made everything I wanted my big day to be, happen. Our favorite takeout seafood place was packed so we drove further north to look for another restaurant. We accidentally found... lobster in the rough - it was set back a ways off the road. We had never heard of this place so our expectations were low.However, we were pleasantly surprised as the fried seafood was excellent. Good quantity of food for the price and fast service.The fish was fresh and tasty. Lots of picnic tables both in and out of the sun. We will definitely be back soon. Read more
Have stopped at this summer popup several times over the years. The food is always fresh and.portions are ame. It just a cool... little place, even had great acoustic music one August weekend afternoon. Great food! Read more
