Not very impressed today, our first time dining here! 4.5 stars with 960 reviews on Yelp seemed really good, so we decided to... try it out. Restaurant is nice, very cool ambiance, nice decorations, well organized. They offer inside seating as well aspatio seating. Clean restaurant. The have beers to chose from, as well as some delicious dessert options (well? they lookeddelicious lol, did not get to try them.) The reason why I am only giving them a 3 star review, it is because of the wait time.We sat on a semi-wet table, was not fully dry when they took us there. Then we waited almost 45 minutes before the first platewas brought to our table, and about 3 minutes in between plates. It was only 5 of us. Not a huge party. Before we left, 2different waiters came to our table to apologize for the slow service. One said it was because they were under staffed, theother one said it was because the rush caught them by surprise!! So I am assuming it was probably a combination of both! Thefood on the other hand was very good. I would not really consider this restaurant to be the best Vietnamese restaurant in OrangeCounty at the moment, maybe back in 2020 when It was nominated, but not now. But yes, the food was good, very good quantity forthe price tag. My Oxtail Fried rice was $18.95 My wide Vermicelli Chicken Bowl was $17.95 I am not sure if I?ll come back. Whoknows! Read more
Wow!! That's what I have to say about the meal we just had at Monarch 9 in Yetba Linda CA. I ordered the Chicken pho which was... amazing!! My hubby ordered the Filet Mignon Pho & he loved it too!! We initially went to try their beef stew and was let downwhen we were told they no longer serve the dish! We were sad but that's when I decided to try the chicken Pho and it'sdefinitely one of the best I've ever had!! The portion was huge definitely enough for two people. I loved how clean theestablishment was . I really liked their decor too! To top it off we ordered the tiramisu. That was also very good too! Thestaff was very friendly and attentive too. Just came in to town and we decided to stop by for some pho. The portions are awesome and the food was delicious. The only... thing I don?t like is that you pay first before getting your food so you don?t know how great the service will be. Which makesit hard to choose a tip. Not everyone Carries cash so I went and got some macrons so i can tip them more. Although I wouldn?trecommend the macrons. The tiramisu was delicious. Read more

Fantastic green tea Thai ice tea will make sleeping at night a little difficult with all the caffeine. Lychee drink is just as... addictive. The shaken beef is incredibly tender and flavorful. French fries are a bit thick and very copious with parmesancheese and parsley topping. Opt for the phenomenal pho instead and other side dishes, rather than filling up on the fries. Thisrestaurant is unforgettably good! The refrigerated display unit includes canned French pate for sale and nice desserts. Intimateinterior, beautiful outdoor seating makes this restaurant feel like a fancier lunch or dinner place to want to keep coming backto. Read more
This place is freaking awesome they informed us right away they are super busy and that the appetizers would be out first and... our food might take a bit. We ordered the Vegan pho and the Chicken stir fry. The owner suggested for us to get the egg rollsand he even came to give us another order for the wait and dessert! Awesome place! Family owned. The passion, and the care of the owners is very genuine. Definitely the most unique Vietnamese food... I have had. Came here for lunch. Had the vegan spring rolls, vegan curry, and hubby had the shaken beef. The place is superclean, very nice, and you can feel the positive energy. We were greeted with many smiles and had a wonderful lunch! Next timewill try the cocktails! Read more
