"The Best Cookie Ever" literally is the best cookie ever! Try it! Just like any other fresh market, the prices are subject to... change due to the product or ingredients. If you have never eaten at a high end, daily fresh prep food place, you might notunderstand. If $0.50 is too much for you to handle per person, in influx, then this is not the place for you and you'd bebetter fitted to buying a bag of standard cookies at a set price and probably with a coupon. . . just saying. . . It feels like everything here is made with love. Well love and a heck of a lot of sugar and probably a ton of butter. But you... really want those things in a good cake. I will tell you a little secret, along with amazing cakes, really fun good-sizedCupcakes and really crazy little small cupcakes, a super secret wonderful thing that they make is the best eclair I've had inOrange County in years. They don't always have them so I would definitely call ahead but they are light pastries, the chocolateis a dark semi bitter chocolate and the custard inside is oh so delicious. Never have I ever been treated like that before - customer service is horrible. I went in to order a cake which they priced the... week before (had it in writing). They did a bate and switch and upped the pricing, which if you look at reviews, it notuncommon. I was going to order anyways but said that I didn't appreciate the change in price which was 50 cents per personwhich adds up, especially with their expensive cakes. Well, the new owner came over and reamed me in front of other customers. The look on her face and tone of voice was horrible. By the way, the frosting tasting I did wasn't very good either. I don'trecommend them and I would find another bakery. The owner should have apologized or honored the price but instead insulted me. I was speechless and walked out. Beverly would be upset if she knew this is how her business was being run by the new ownerafter building a great business. In my opinion, ruined her name. Read more
Went in for cake tasting for our wedding, was very disappointed. We have been at this for over a week and a half, probably gone... to about 5 bakerys. But this one, they had already 4 slices of their basic flavors, when the list you see online have many moreoptions, which was one of the reasons this bakery caught our attention. They had nothing to taste other then those 4 but had noproblem charging us $25 for below basic flavors. Don't get me wrong the owner was very pleasant and welcoming but the lack ofanything was just too much. Read more
This beautiful and large bakery with a little tea room attached is hidden in a strip mall on Yorba Linda boulevard. The baked... goods that I purchased from them have always been five star. From scones to brownies to cupcakes and croissants, it's just likegoing to Paris. I have not tried their cakes but I know that they also cater and the cakes do look beautiful. It's worth a driveto pick up some fresh baked goods for your Sunday morning brunch or any other occasion. Read more
