Out on a Saturday Night with my wife and decided to go to Yonkers for an evening out. We?ve heard of this place that had amazing... southern style seafood and we decided to try it. I ordered the fried catfish with side order of black eyed peas and my wife hadthe shrimp and grits. For my catfish, it had the best flavored batter and seasoned just right. The black eyed peas had excellentflavor. My wife loved and enjoyed her shrimp and grits. We also shared the hush puppies which were delicious. They have a fullserve bar with a great list of mixed drinks of which we had plenty off. The ambience and decor are great to have dinner in alongwith the excellent service. The owner/cook came by our table to see how everything was which was a great touch. We will bereturning for their brunch if which I heard is excellent. Read more

Really nice lunch today. My first visit but I?ll definitely be returning. Ordered jerk chicken with greens and black eyed peas... and rice. The chicken was flavorful and moist and the sides were also well prepared. I sat in the dining room which was calmand comfortable. They have a to-go shop next door. Ordered the 2 piece whiting and chips. First and foremost when receiving my order, the presentation was horrible. My food came... in a cheap brown cardboard box. Fries were cold and soggy, as if they were fried a week ago. Now let's get to the fish, I'veordered fried whiting at many seafood restaurants. Never have I ever ordered fried whiting fish that was so bland and taste likefish sticks. Not sure where these reviews come from, but its obvious they're friends and family members trying to buildclientele. I will never order from this establishment again. HORRIBLE!
