Terrible service! We came in and waited to be seated. Waitresses passed us at least 5 times and never mentioned for us to seat... ourselves. We figured it out and finally sat ourselves. We sat at the table and again, waitresses passed us and never said aword for over 20 minutes. I finally got a waitresses to bring us menus. Then we waited another 20 minutes and she walked by usat least 10 times but would never take our order. I got fed up and left. The place was busy, but not that busy. I will nevergo back! Read more
I don't like giving negative reviews, but I couldn't let this pass. My husband and 2 babies arrived at the restaurant. No one... greeted us. We went ahead and sat on a table on the patio. As we were waiting a waitress (blonde hair middle age lady) saidhello to me and kept attending another table. As we are still waiting another couple (white family) comes in through the backand asks if they can just sit anywhere. The waitress (same lady) said yes and brought them menus right away. She skipped us.Then she pretended she never saw us. This lady was a RACIST! Just wanted to let everyone know. Read more
This is an awesome place that we happened to visit unplanned just because we were hungry on our drive from Las Vegas to LA. This... restaurant and this small town is on a hill top and closes at 5pm but is worth visiting. The food was also fresh and tastedwell. The beer was great. Read more

Slow to get food,finally get food and we asked for more beers,they never came out. Had to eat with no drink. Then I overheard... one lady say that she just poured a half one and they can have it for free. By the time she tried to give us that,it was like 10minutes later. So we declined. Food was really good though. Took forever to get check also. The miners cage showed permanentlyclosed so when we got to the top of the hill,they were open. They had REALLY cold beers and food menu looked good. Go eat thereinstead. Read more
We had our son's Welcome Home Celebration dinner there months ago. We all enjoyed the delicious buffet style dinner that we... chose. The atmosphere and feel was just what we wanted. The staff was kind and on point from planning the event to the end ofthe evening farewell. We look forward to another celebration to plan there again. Read more
The Chicken Dinner was horrible. I like the look and feel of the restaurant. Certainly gave the feeling that we would receive a... quality home cooked meal. (Not the case). We Both had the fried chicken dinners. The chicken breast were large and steaming hotwith almost too crispy crust. The problem is both of our chicken (4 pieces total) were completely frozen in the center.Completely!! But strangly it was not raw. The only way this is possible is to fry previously cooked frozen chicken. The serverdid not deny the issue and had the cook make us more, of which came out fried way too long to the point where is wasinedible. Also the mashed potatoes was made from powder potatoes and the corn was very basic straight out the can or frozencorn, plus a plain store brought dinner roll. The only item we enjoyed was the Lemonade or tea There is a large back patio toeat and a nice front porch to lounge and have a beer. The server was very kind and tried to be understanding.
