We order fries and a BLT with Avocado and chilli fries. I open my sandwich and the lettuce was so disgusting it had a hair on... it too. I requested a new one. When I was about to give a try to the fries there was a fly in my food ???? it looked like ablack bean I couldn't believe I almost ate that. They refunded the money. never going back again to that place. pack yoursandwich or pay 12 or 15 for disgusting food. Read more

Overall I was pretty happy with Wylie's. My main concern is that the ordering kiosks didn't fully match the menu outside the... restaurant so by the time you made up your mind you had to alter that. Dinner was the very affordable Wylie burger and cup ofchili. I thought both were good for what they were. Trust me, you will get way, way worse at other spots in Yellowstone. Wewent back for breakfast the next morning and got an okay breakfast sandwich on English muffin. That wasn't quite as good, themuffin was still a bit cold from being frozen but it got the job done. I thought I would be disappointed because of the bad reviews. Nope. Warm food and good chili fries (big serving). Food in my... hometown is more expensive and not always better than this. The food quality and price was comparable to fast food places. Thebison burger was ok, nothing special, slightly overpriced, but not that bad. A park staff told us this was a good place to eat. Very limited menu and no size choices or description of what items where... absent leaving the kiosk ordering as a guess on anything beyond the basics. The pre-made patties were cold and had been charbroiled so they were a few degrees short of being hockey pucks. There was half a piece of lettuce and a tomato slice slightlylarger in diameter than a cherry tomato. As one of the choices was plain with no tomato, lettuce or onion was additionallydisappointed there was not an onion bit on any of the burgers. I expected an expensive meal buying it in the park but alsoexpected at least McDonald's quality burgers. Wouldnt suggest eating here unless you need motivation to eat less for your newdiet. Guys, I had the worst chicken burger at this overcrowded place. They took 30 minutes for my order to give me a bland and a worst... quality frozen chicken patty. $1 McDonald chicken burger tastes much better than this $11 burger. Look at the texture in theimage, ate half as I was so hungry but could not eat the whole thing. My husband ordered a cheese burger and that was bland andfrozen too. There are so many good places to eat in Yellowstone. I would not recommend this restaurant. Read more

After receiving our burgers they were very cold. Pre frozen Pattie?s just nuked?well not well. I was confused if I was suppose... to microwave my burgers because they did have a microwave?Very disappointed for spending $100 dollars for 3 cold burgers, 2mildly warm Mac and cheese and 5 drinks. After a 7.4 mile hike we were really looking forward to the hot, plentiful food that we have enjoyed at the Lake Lodge for the... last 16 years. We were disheartened to discover that the old-style cafeteria fare had been replaced with a limited menu ofhamburgers, hot dogs, fries, milk shakes, etc. We didn't mind the new ordering system but the menu selections were dismal. Iunderstand that Xanterra is facing staffing shortages, especially after the floods, but this was such a disappointment. Pleasebring back some vegetables at least! This place is my go-to for a great Mediterranean plate and huckleberry milkshake! Very friendly staff here!
