The best place in Yellowknife to come for some local beer and great bar/pub food. The flights are set flights so you will have... to take what they give you, but the beers they have is a good variety for any taste, and the shack burger and poutine is adelicious combination. We had the Korean Jangarang flavored beer brined chicken wings and was pretty good. Ceviche is nice tooif you like raw fish. Read more

We went here twice during our short stay in Yellowknife, first time was just for drinks and the second time was for an early... dinner. Our servers were great. The food and drinks were all tasty. We especially love the pretzels. We also flew home a bottleof their signature brew. Read more

Was super crowded on a weekend night. I loved the old school vibe of the bar counter. The room is in two sections. We were... seated close to the bar to try the beers. They have a couple of fixed beer flights but they can't be mixed and matched. So wegot two beer flights, didn't touch some of them we didn't like before we ordered our beers. They were out of wings when weordered but later said they're back on the menu. The finger food was good with the beer and the service was great. Read more

Awesome place to hang out, especially if you are a beer lover. And really good food too.

Great atmosphere. Everything tasted great. The place was packed, but we got our food quite fast. It was a good surprise to find... the South African inspired Cape Malay curry in a bread bowl on the menu. I highly recommend it, it's really special and thecoconut chutney pairs well with the lamb and chickpea curry. The wait staff was nice if somewhat overworked due to lots ofFriday night guests.
