Reviews for Kawaii Tori Sushi in Yardley, PA
The food was outstanding! I loved they that they had Halloween related items on the menu, that was very fun. We had entirely too... much but it was just so delicious we couldn't help ourselves. There is not that much to choose for drinks but the food makes upfor that and then some. It's not a huge place but modern, simple style, which works. I'll definitely be going back and soon. Read more
A very lovable place for some sushi! Service is so sweet and kind, the atmosphere is hard to describe - all I can say is I'm a... big fan of it. This is the sort of place is where I'd get celebratory drinks and food, I'd recommend it as such :) Consider theprices and portion sizes! It's still VERY much worth a try though! Parked in a lot near by, the walk is by no means a hassle. The street it's located at is picturesque and bright at night, so this place also has looks! Read more
Live in the area. Have been here a couple times and usually it?s good. This time got take out and yellowtail scallion was... putrid. The scallion inside was old and rotten. After one bite I gagged and noticed it all smelled. Will not be going back. Read more
Sushi was super fresh! Lots of vegan options. Miso soup was excellent. Our server Morgan was super sweet and helpful with... questions we had about the menu! Read more
We were excited to try dining at the new location after exclusively getting take-out from the original location that was shared... with Pretty Bird. The sushi is top notch and the design of the new dining room is visually appealing. However, the overallexperience was marred by a number of factors. Generally speaking, I would say the space is lacking warmth, literally andfiguratively. It was quite chilly in the dining room and we overheard a number of other guests saying the same thing. Soundbounced off all the hard surfaces, such that normal conversations or the movement of a chair seemed harsh. Music playing overthe speakers was some kind of dance-pop style that seemed out of place. Servers were dressed very casually, which might seempetty, but you can tell who a server is next door at the Vault, but it was hard to distinguish who was an employee at KawaiiTori. All of these things are minor on their own, but add up to an experience that was disappointing. We still love the qualityof the sushi, which is the main reason I am still giving this review 4-stars, but we'll probably stick to take-out unless wehave reason to think that the overall experience has improved. Had dinner at 6:30 on a Thursday and wasn't too crowded in there and parking was really easy which is awesome in Yardley! The... food was excellent and didn't have to wait long. Everything was seasoned really well and the textures were spot on. Really lovedthe white fish in the volcano roll I had. There was definitely a lot going on in the volcano roll and spicy tuna fried rice butit was darn good. The staff is very friendly, especially our waitress. The restaurant is clean with tasteful modern decor. Iliterally only knocked off a star because they didn't have any desserts which is kind of a bummer but perhaps that's somethingthat they will add in the future. If they do I'd probably change this to 5 stars. The wine selection is awesome as well. Reallyenjoyed the allegro cabernet franc. Read more
Kawaii Tori is our sushi go-to. The new space is great, with a lively atmosphere (not as quiet as it used to be but that?s... okay!). Food was delicious as always, great quality and presentation. Spring Rolls and Veggie Dumpling appetizers were dynamite, our first time trying those. Food did take a while longer to come out, but understand they are now operating at about triple thecapacity as before?..BE PATIENT! It?s worth the wait. Owner is very hands-on, speaking to all guests dining in, filling waters, setting tables, etc? Read more
This restaurant has moved off of the tiny location on main Street. It is still on main Street just in a plaza across from the... Wawa rather than directly on the sidewalk. What a beautiful restaurant! And so many more places to sit. And a big open area forthe chefs to do their preparations. I really loved the whole service. I was there for dinner with a friend for my birthday. Theseasonal special sushi was incredible. Wish that they had the Frankenstein roll all year long. We got a bunch of different sushiand sashimi, and some delicious tea. The server was so helpful. I want to go back again and again. Read more
