I was first greeted by a pleasant opening with access to outside seating. The atmosphere was akin to something out of tv or... manga, in fact they even have one of the robot food couriers and sang Happy Birthday to some seated guests. I had never seen onein person so that was some delightful icing. I used a giftcard which didnt work at first but the kind hostess took care of allthe issues and all I did was sit with some fresh ice water while I waited for my food. I dined on beef yakisoba, takoyaki,chicken fried rice, and crepe cake! I didnt finish it all in one go mind you. I will say the portions left a little to bedesired, but the flavors were great. I didnt ask for yum yum sauce (aka sexy sauce) but smiled at this inclusion. The takoyakiwas not as bad as I feared never having had it before, still I can say there were good flavors. This is not a knock on thepresentation or quality, just in my tolerance for octopus. The chicken fried rice was elevated by sauce, and akin to any goodfried rice out there. The beef yakisoba was a delicious meal, with tender strips of beef and was something I recommend anyonetry! The beef was not raw in any capacity as the menu warned was possible. The true gem of the meal was the light and deliciouscrepe cake! This was a pleasant experience and I only wish there was more to enjoy (since my small slice was $9). With whippedcream and chocolate this memorable morsel is something I will surely return for more of. I felt as if I was in a webtoon whilesitting here. I'm fairly certain that the people who give this place a good review saying the sushi is great are only ordering cooked or spicy... rolls that cover up the poor quality and bad cuts of fish that they use. Most notably, the tuna is the biggest offender. I havenever had a positive experience with their sushi. I do recommend the karaage chicken or the sukiyaki steak. Visited this restaurant on a Friday for it's lunch service around 2pm. We ordered the house special roll and the pirate roll... which were part of the lunch special. The special also comes with salad or miso soup. The food tastes very good. If you likesushi I recommend the house special roll, spicy girl, and the madison roll. After eating at this place several times now, I cansafely say it is the best deal on sushi in Yakima. The sushi rolls are done very well, tight, neat, and they stay together. Thespicy jellies and spicy mayo are great additions on many of the rolls. The ambience is relaxed, fairly quiet, and easy going soyou can enjoy your food at your pace. Plenty of choices from sushi to hot food. Nicely decorated with friendly staff. Hugh fried rice portion will solve any super... hungry kids. Avoid the salmon skin salad as it comes in tiny portion of salmon skill, and too heavy on the dressing. Read more
My very favorite restaurant in Yakima. I started coming here when they first opened in beginning of 2021 and still come multiple... times every week. The food is always wonderful and service exceptional. I love the sushi, miso soup, and hibachi dishes. But allthe things I've tried, which are most dishes, have been fabulous! They have some great sushi rolls with rotating specials. The one pictured is the "spooky roll" assumed to be their Halloween... special. My son and I often split a roll and the Sumo Rice with steak. It is one of our favorites in Yakima for sushi. Read more
