Reviews for Frankie's Casa in Wylie, TX
Always tge best food and service, we are often there. We were with family and had dessert, WOW!!
We ordered pick up. My husband ordered the Guiso Pork Stew. It was $18.25, which I thought was a little steep but I thought it... must be a large portion and delicious. Below is a picture of the almost $20 stew. That is a Keurig cup next to it. It was barelyeven 1 cup of soup for $18.25. I called because I needed a refund because the queso was left out, I also asked the server whatthe portion size is for the soup and they didn?t know. The soup wasn?t even good. Oh well, lesson learned but just wanted to letothers know before they order this very expensive stew. Read more
Frankie's food is terrific, as always. It is best to go early if you don't want a wait. They have inside and outside seating;... however, smokers can ruin the enjoyment of outside ambiance. Read more
Veggie Nachos. Who does that!! No Mexican restaurant in Dallas doing this! Delicious! No cheese. No sour cream. I can't say... vegan but definitely maybe vegetarian. Nicely done. My new favorite. Read more
Was really looking forward to this place as I just recently moved to the area. I got the parillada for two for me and my wife to... enjoy. Highly disappointed. When ordering was told 18 ounces of meat was what we would be receiving. Highly disappointed, whenexplaining that we did not receive the correct amount of meat the gentlemen on the phone simply told me that sounds about rightafter explaining I only received 3 shrimps, 4 pieces of beef, and 5 pieces of chicken. I'd understand if this was extremelylarge pieces. Unfortunately not the case. Read more
Great staff and location in downtown Wylie. We sat on the well shaded patio and had a lovely dinner. I always judge a place by... its salsa and there's is great and not too spicy. Dinner was very good and we also took an order home for my daughter. Everyonewas pleased with their meal. Will be back for sure. Read more
Ok to good food we will say for this restaurant. Service was good and fast . Food arrived fast and was well presented. ... Chimichanga had a weird taste but edible. Shrimp tacos were needed more slaw and was needed some acid to be added (maybe a lemonor lime) came with a sauce what we could not make up of what was it . Appeared like a cheese sauce at first then at close inspection was more like a broken white yellow sauce. . We wat the shrimp tacos, Chimichanga was left . Kids meals were good. They claimed that the chicken nuggets tasted like the ones at McDonald's Read more
Standalone restaurant on the north side of downtown Wylie. Restaurant is a converted house with a patio in front. This... restaurant is part of a small chain of Mexican restaurants that have been in the area for years. Parking is not really an issuebut you may have to park a ways away since there is not a dedicated parking lot. This place is very popular and the wait timescan get long at times. Service is very good. Menu has a wide selection. Drinks and food are very good. Recommend. Read more
