Have eaten at Sakura probably over 100 times since it opened. They did a great job staying afloat during the dumb pandemic,... delivery was reliable, and even prices stayed reasonable. We've eaten in person many times since the craziness subsided and itsstill great, albeit it seems a bit understaffed, which seems every restaurant suffers from these days. As far as food goes, itsstill as good as it gets. While we've eaten at most of the sushi joints in this part of Bergen county for the past 25 years,Sakura is still super reliable, tasty and fresh. Don't understand most of the 1 star reviews, seems a bit extreme, but reviewsare reviews I guess, and people like to complain. Used to be my absolute favorite...but lately its been overpriced and quality not great. But i stayed loyal. Today i got a bad... tuna roll. Called to let them know, mainly to prevent anyone from getting sick (clearly wasn't good ????) and owner wasdefensive and refused to refund me for the roll. She wanted to give me $2 back for the upcharge to get tuna instead of Caliroll. It's really not the money...it's the principle...I spend prob $300 or more there per month...and she was fighting me on 6bucks! Crazy!! Shows a disloyalty to repeat customers and a money hungry owner. Sad!! So sakura is off the list! I'll also bewarning friends! Read more
If you go early, about 5:30 you will be awkwardly stared at by staff and feel rushed and pressured to order quickly. If you... don?t, they will make it known that they are annoyed you aren?t ordering quickly. As you are still looking at menu and enjoyinga glass of wine, waitress comes over and says ok what are you having? Then after you have dinner, the check is brought quicklywithout being asked if you?d like desert. Rude. Never felt so rushed. Was in and out in an hour. Uncomfortable. Nice fresh sushi. I've been here a few times and it was always good. Not sure what "the angry food critic" is going on about. "... On top of that the food started to taste the same way the chicken catch you seem very old and the sushi was known any betterwould not recommend coming here at all" How am I supposed to take your review seriously if you can't even write a sentence thatmakes sense? Nice local Sushi Spot located in its own little house/Main Street building location in Wycoff?. Reservations are only for... parties for parties of 5 more - nice little booths, very accommodating staff, BYOB. Read more

Well the decor and the upscale of this restaurant is nice I can?t see the same for the food very disappointed with lukewarm soup... salad barely had anything on it and the dressing was terrible the sprite we had gotten taste like bleach no joke. It literallywas still burning my mouth after i had shared it with my wife. She had told me to try it. On top of that the food started totaste the same way the chicken catch you seem very old and the sushi was known any better would not recommend coming here atall. I imagine all the good all the reviews from this restaurant were, another reason i was here, I?m extremely disappointed.Will not be returning, went to another sushi place and didnt taste like this, nice to know it wasnt me. The absolute best in sushi and service! Delivery is always super quick too! I love the sweetheart roll & their sashimi!
