My family had a cabin over in Wurtsboro when I was a kid, I remember it being good from back then so I was in the area and I... visited this week, it looks the same inside as I remember it very, rustic and welcoming, I mean it's been in business in a lowpopulation area for as long as I can remember so you know it's got to be good, I went in and got a New York strip steak, it wascooked perfectly and it was delicious, as was the grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes. I will absolutely eat at this placeanytime I'm in the area. Read more
Great place to go. When my friend Tom from North Carolina comes up he and I and my Godson if he is here go to catch up. They... have pizza I have chef salad as I need to be gluten free. Suggestion: offer a gluten free pizza like so many others do so I andothers that need to stay gluten free can partake. Read more
The service was terrible. We were from NYC and passing through this area. We had no idea where to get a quick bite, found this... place is located on a corner offers an easy access to park. After 30 min waiting from placing our order we needed to ask someoneif we can at least get a salad first. We were ignored 3 times. That only is not acceptable, I stood up and then she finally paidattention but she was ready to argue. We politely told her that we needed her attention because we would like to have our saladif it?s ready. She was beyond rude. She admitted she mindfully ignored us ?because I was busy?. (??how busy can you be whenthere are only 3 active tables and 2-3 waitresses, AND 30min for a salad to come out. Really, how busy can you be??) We didn?tsay anything to her. She did not look like she wanted to help or serve food for us, so we left. What a huge waste of time. Wewent to a different restaurant near by and had a great meal there. Read more
I have passed this place many times. Finally stopped for lunch and it was very good. I had the French Onion Soup and a... cheeseburger. Place was not crowded at all ? just me and some locals at the bar having lunch. I enjoyed it and would definitelygo back. Always thought it was a cool old building. Read more

Went for drinks and pizza. Bartender very friendly and knowledgeable. When he didn't know something he would find out. He always... came back to check on us to see if we needed anything else. But not to the point of annoying. Read more
