Reviews for Grizzly Cafe in Wrightwood, CA
The restaurant was smaller than anticipated, therefore; the wait to seat a 7 person party was lengthly. Being from out of town,... and unaware of our surroundings, we waited and made the best of our time together. The food was delicious and the staff(although busy) kept a cheerful smile and handled the influx of patrons. Read more
Great place to eat. Friendly staff and the food is great. They have the best French toast in the world
Overall: B+ Layout & decor: ???????? Food quality: ???????? Cleanliness: ?????????? Customer service: ???????? Timeliness:... ???????? Review: came here for breakfast & was not disappointed. The prices are very reasonable as well as the portion sizes youget. The biscuit and gravy was quite large! Definitely enjoyed my food. Cool little place with a Cracker Barrel feel. If I werestaying here again or passing through I would make a stop here. Definitely would recommend. Read more
We have always known Grizzly Cafe is a true go-to for breakfast and now we know it's lunch too! My husband and I have always... ridden our Harley up to Wrightwood because its a beautiful ride and had so far only had breakfast. We just so happen to miss thebreakfast cut off and had to get lunch. Which I am sooo glad we did! It was a very pleasant surprise. I ordered The Grizzly Bearburger with fries and it was beyond delicious! Our food came out fast, hot and fresh. Bun was soft and warm, grilled onions andbacon were perfect. So fresh and definitely not stale as if they had been sitting there all day like some places. My first bitewas delicious and the best sign...that warm, cheesy pull away! Yum! My husband had the Hot and Rowdy with sweet potato frieswhich was a roast beef sandwich and he loved it. Nothing but positive things to say. We will be checking out dinner next which Iam so excited to do! Also can't forget the little store connected to the restaurant with tons of adorable furnishings and littletrinkets. Will get more shots of it next time I am there! Read more

We visited this Cafe for the first time after having a great time in the snow with our kids. When we arrived the parking area... was a bit small however there was spaces available, there was a wait of 20 minutes for a table but the place is cozy and smallwith a gift shop in the front and an old cabin all americana vibe to it, we purchased 50 dollars worth or souvenirs and waited abelieve more than 20 minutes; However the staff was very attentive but I must be honest regarding their food. It was terrible, noseasonings, overcooked and bland, fruit and mashed potatoe gravy mixed etc we ordered 3 hot chocolates to drink and 2 coffeeswhich tasted very off, but essentially the hot chocolates had an oil film on top of them. One of our kids ended up with astomach ache. Our bill was 90 dollars but to be honest based on their food I wouldn't visit again or yet recommend thisrestaurant! However the staff was friendly and very patient and those were nice qualities to find while visiting a new place Read more

Cozy little spot to grab a good meal. The Grizzly Burger was great with the homemade potato chips. The Patty Melt however was a... bit on the plain dry side. But the fries were good. All the food being served around us looked amazing. But if you go on aweekend be prepared to wait a bit. Being one of a handful of food options around I would say it was worth it. Just browse theirgift shop while you wait. Read more
