Dillon was excellent even with a severely understaffed. In chaos of the family beside us he apologized for their behavior with... 12 kids going crazy. Also in the chaos our pizza was taken to that table by mistake. We waited another 20 minutes for a newpizza as other at our table had their food. We love mellows Maui pizza. Even with all the issues he discounted our meal and Iended up tipping him more than the bill cause he was killing himself to provide us with great service. Had their Shitake mushroom pizza for take-out. It was incredible with various mushrooms, cheeses, onions and garlic. If you want... a pizza with real flavor I would recommend them most highly!! Looking forward to going back and trying more of their deliciousmenu items. Read more
I love Mellow Mushroom first off. This location is kinda small but just has the flavor packed into all of it food. Every time you visit a Mellow Mushroom, be sure to try their unique pies to that location. Each one has special ones just for... them. I did the online order and it was quick and easy to pick up and carry out. Staff was friendly and it was ready ontime. The Maui Wowie is delicious! A small could cover 2 meals for one person. Uhhhh, picked up a pie to-go, drove 2 miles to my hotel and this is what I opened the box to? who ever baked it and boxed it... must have been very mellow themselves.Went to pull off a slice and the crust pulled away from the pizza, so those cut lines arepretty much nonexistent. Then I picked up the slice after cutting it myself, the slice felt like a greasy diaper. No cap.Anyways after biting the slice, the flavors were mild and the slice felt like a greasy sponge. We got a half and half pie of the shitake and great white. Incredibly well seasoned, and my dining partner and I agreed that we... had never had pizza like this before. It's definitely a fork and knife pizza, but so delicious. Also tried the newer menu itemcloud nine wings, which came out hot, with a really mild sauce and parmesan dust. A great spot after a day at Wrightsvillebeach. Something for everyone on the menu. Can't wait to go back to try a thinner crust option that the bar tender recommended! Read more
Even though we are doing a low carb diet right now, we were able to enjoy an amazing dinner at Mellow Mushroom! I had build your... own salad with apples, cucumbers, and tomatoes with oil and vinegar dressing. The wings were super cheap and delicious nakedbaked with buffalo sauce on the side. My daughter had the kids French bread pizza kid's meal and she gave two thumbs up on hersas well! The bartender was also able to make us skinny margaritas with only the natural sugars from lemon and lime! They wereamazing and the atmosphere was fantastic!
