I read all these fabulous reviews and could not wait to try food in this place, but unfortunately the classic acai bowl was a... disappointment. First of all, the kiwi fruit was not peeled. I get it you can it it with the furry skin, but who wants that? Thebiggest issue with the bowl was the amount of sugar. The smoothie itself was so sweet, I had to just pick out the fruit andgranola from the top. Why 3 stars? Coffee. I ordered their large cappuccino with oat milk, and it was excellent. 3 shots ofespresso in a large cup of steamed oat milk - I mean, how can you not like it? As a local of Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach, NC, I cannot recommend Adapt Kitchen and Juice Bar MORE! The owners and staff... are so great, personable, and offer the best service. You can tell the food is made with the freshest ingredients. My absolutefavorites are the Nutty Açaí Bowl and the Hawaiian Style Ahi Poke Bowl. This place is the ABSOLUTE go to for Açaí bowls, immunity shots, coffee, toasts or teas! The bowls are simply AMAZING! From... the presentation all the way down to the last taste.
