Decided to try this place for the first time with my family, food was bland and Mac and cheese was just noodles with shredded... cheese. Took one bite and didn't touch my food. My husband and I went in last night for dinner and to hear the band. The food was excellent and our waitress was great!! After... dinner we moved to the bar so that we could have a seat with a back. Big mistake...the 2 girls behind the bar were horrible. Not once were we asked if we needed anything. We would put our empty beer bottle at the edge of the bar and they would look atit and keep walking. We had to flag them down for every drink. You could tell you their friends/regulars were. Band was amazing, bar service was very terrible to say the least. There is no real way to get a table. There's not a waiting... list or any way to get a table other than by getting lucky. It was completely full over an hour before the band started. Mygroup just kind of hangout in the dance floor area; where you just feel in the way most of the time. The Burning Bridge Tavern is near the river and is an interesting bar. I like the decor and the food and drink is good. My... husband had the Texas chili. It was a bit spicy but good. The salad wasn't that good. But our dinners were good. We both hadPit Master Special. Three meats and 2 sides. I had the brisket, smoked turkey and pit beef. Along with fries. My husband had thespecial also it had brisket, grilled chicken and pit beef. The chicken was dry. But all the other meats tasted good and smoky.The pit beef is shredded.
