Reviews for Borgata Pizza Cafe in Worthington, OH
Spectacular pizza pie - first off it's not Columbus style- which means bonus points in my book. The crust is on point and just... the right level of "floppy" and fold ability. We opted for the 14" and it was huge. For the same price as elsewhere it knockedgem to the wayside. When it comes to pizza cheap is cheap- chain is chain - and excellence is from the heart. I woulddefinitely say these folks are making it from the ??. We had more than enough to Nkomo the next day. We also got 2 side saladsand there were zero inferior pieces (not the case recently with most places trying to sneak in slightly brown or on the edgeitems). Maybe folks are paying less attention but you could tell they used fresh ingredients and really took pride in making anice product. The house made balsamic dressing was #sogood I was happy to dip my crust in it and savor the last drops. We willdefinitely return. We pass a few pizza places on the way- and it is worth it. We can't wait to try them again. Read more

I am pretty sure that I have found the perfect pizza for my tastes! I prefer pizza with a sweet sauce. After trying so many I... had yet to find my pizza perfection. I had this behemoth delivered and after getting over the shock of the size of this thing-went in for a bite. Everything from the sauce, the pep, the crust was perfection! Definitely my #1 since moving to Columbus. Read more
Interesting reading other reviewers; seemed to either love it or hate it. We found this place by accident after we went to a... different pizza place, which was supposed to open at 4:00; but, by 4:15, the restaurant was still dark. We weren?t willing towait around for the ovens to get hot (but, that?s another review for somewhere else). This restaurant is in a strip mall, largeand open, with a bar to the left as you walk in. There are ample tables and chairs for dine-in seating. The acoustics wasn?tthe best; we arrived before they got busy, which I was thankful for. There are multiple TV screens, at the time, playingfootball and basketball. The kitchen was big and open; it appeared to be clean and well staffed. Pizza boxes were stacked uphigh prepared for business. The staff were all wearing masks. The server we had was very nice; she was attentive and kept ourdrinks filled - I didn?t hear her name (she had very pretty purple hair). We ordered garlic cheese bread and it was served withmarinara sauce; it was a large portion and easily shared between three people (had leftovers to take home, actually). We splita 20? pizza, half cheese, half pepperoni pizza. The sauce was good, cheese cooked to a light, golden brown on top. The crustwas a little over done on one side but the advantage to NY style, you don?t always need to eat the crust. I ordered a meatballjust to try it out. It had a good texture, definitely ?homemade? consistency, topped with cheese and surrounded by sauce (a.k.a.gravy to some). I ordered a sweet tea, no ice. It was a little light on both the flavor of the tea, and the ?sweet?. I mustsay, I think they are a little on the pricey side. It isn?t that the product they are serving isn?t good, it is just a littleover the cost I am willing to pay for what I ordered; especially since in this case, you aren?t paying for ambience along withyour food. All-in-all, would I make a special trip and seek this restaurant out? No. Would I go Read more
My family was in town for the classic this weekend. We had to find a place that accommodated someone with celiac disease.... Borgata nailed it! They were able to get the gluten free pizza made in its own area so there was no cross-contamination. Thebruschetta was unique but still traditional. The buffalo and BBQ wings were cooked very good; not too hard but beyond slimy. Thebarbecue and buffalo sauces had their own unique tastes. My calzone was big; enough for two servings. The taste was good but Ididn't too much care for it being inside of a pita bread. Our server, Z, was the best. She was so polite and accommodating. Verypersonable! She earned and deserved every bit of the tips we gave her. She spoke directly with the chef and cooking staff tomake sure that we had no issues when it came to having a gluten free meal. She even had the head chef come out to the table toreassure what she had guaranteed us. Overall I would go back to try other items off of the menu. We enjoyed our first timeexperience there!!!
