Flavorful Jamaican food with extremely friendly service. I had curry goat, rice & peas, mac & cheese and cabbage. Everything was... fresh, tasty and good. Went in for a little taste of Home and that?s exactly what I got! From Unique Cafe?s fresh juices and authentic Jamaican cuisine... I felt like I was back on the islands. It?s a family business where everyone is involved and the moment you walk in you feellike you are family!! The customer service is amazing, food is delicious and atmosphere is very inviting! This is my second time coming to Unique Cafe and each has been amazing. The first time I went I was served by the the owner whom... was the absolute kindest gem and the food was loaded with flavor. The second time I went, there were a couple of teenagersworking there as well and they were so professional, respectful and polite. I ordered the oxtail plate with rice and peas whichcame with two sides so I got the Rasta pasta and sweet plantains. For $13 I've been to other places that give more food for thatprice but the flavor and quality have not been this good. I visited Jamaica years ago and the food at Unique Cafe taste theclosest to what I had while on the island. Home cooked and made with love. I'll definitely be returning in the near future. Read more
Yum!!! I visited there for lunch one day, had the jerk chicken. So fresh, so deliciously and I loved the rice and the plantains.... On a Friday afternoon I told me husband I am getting Jamaican food for dinner and his eyes lit up. He loved it! Highly recommend this place, I loved it. My friends and I ordered juices, the goat curry, and the stewed fish, and every single... thing was perfect (pictured here is the goat curry). The service was wonderful, and they give enough per order for extra meals.Next time I'm in the area, I hope to grab what I didn't get last time! I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS CAFE???????? They?re juices and smoothies are absolutely amazing and have had such good impacts on my gut... health! Their green smoothie is my favorite???? And don?t even get me started on the food! Everything on the menu is perfectlyflavored. I?d highly recommend getting the Rasta pasta as a side for your dish! First visit to Unique Cafe yesterday. I ordered the curried goat, stewed chicken, jerk chicken salad, passionate juice, and... ginger shot. The curried goat and stewed chicken came with white rice, plantains, and steamed carrots/zucchini. Everything wasDELICIOUS, and I'm looking forward to my next visit! The jerk chicken salad was a little spicy, so definitely pick up a freshjuice to cool you off, and wash it down :) YUM!!! Update: I?ve had over 20+ meals here since leaving my review, and havesampled 90% of the menu. Every meal is cooked to perfection, and makes me feel great afterwards! They recently added severalvegan items to the menu, and the Curry Chickpeas is another incredible dish. Unique Cafe has something for everyone, whetheryour friends are meat-lovers or vegans.
