Absolutely great place! They offer many traditional Haitian foods. I got the number 4 which was fried pork, plantains and... rice/beans. The portions are very large and filling so you will have left overs!! The owner is extremely nice and clearly love awhat he does. He is willing to offer suggestions and explain menu items. I also got a papaya smoothie and it was phenomenal, perfectly refreshing and sweet. We also got plantain chips as an appetizer. Wish I had known about this place sooner!! It has aparking lot so no worries there. They definitely made a new locals customer. Read more

I was looking for a good place to try something new for dinner and this place popped up. After reading the reviews, I was sold.... They did not disappoint. I almost ordered the lambi, thinking it was lamb but the lady pointed out to me that lambi was aseafood. I chose the goat meat with white rice and beans sauce instead. It was delicious! Great food in a small setting withexceptional service Read more

My first time trying Haitian food was here at Benny's. The staff was super friendly! I was ordering to go and the server gave me... a plate of papita to eat while I waited for my meal, at no cost. This homemade appetizer consists of thinly sliced plantainsfried to crispy perfection with slices of sweet white onion, herbs and spices and a dressing similar to a vinegrette. Delicious! My meal was the #2, chicken with beans and rice, salad, plantains (sort of made into small pancakes with dipping sauce on theside) and something similar to cole slaw, but NOT cole slaw, and comfortably spicy. I think it's called pickliz? Not sure, butI'm sure I loved it. I shared everything with my girlfriend, who was equally happy with everything. I liked it so much that Ireturned the following day for ice cream. I asked what is traditional to Haiti and the server said rum raisin. I had never hadit before and it turns out I love it! I was further excited to see that they sold ginger beer, so I bought a bottle of that tooand thoroughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend this lovely Haitian restaurant. The food is fantastic and the staff is veryfriendly and hospitable. I'll be back there again and again. Cheers, Z Read more
