The best part was the salsa. Tasteless chicken fajitas made w onions only. Black beans were dry. Not impressed.
What great food! The chile verde pork dish is just spicy enough and the salsa verde gives it an interesting flavor. My wife... had the taco meat enchiladas which were also excellent. The shells, rice and beans were also very good. Compadres is my new topMexican restaurant, we'll drive 20 minutes north rather than go to route 40 from now on. Go Compadres!! Read more
Great little hispanic food joint with a wonderful atmosphere and broad menu. The bar is a great place to grab a lunch brew and... a bite to eat. Try the 5lb burrito challenge, its a gas! I'd give them 5 stars but they are a bit short staffed (like everyoneelse) and it took a long time to get lunch. You'll get the 5th star when you can catch up in staffing. Had an excellent lunch. Drinks were strong and only $5 due to their Monday special. The food was flavorful and plentiful.... Restaurant was clean and service was excellent. Everything you want in a restaurant. I would definitely come back here if I wasin the area. Read more
Delicious fresh food, would recommend to anyone in the area. Our waitress was very friendly, ambiance is laid back and casual... but nice. They have daily specials, Sunday was happy hour all day long which was cool. I got the tacos al pastor and a margaritawhich were good, satisifed my craving. There is a small bar with several chairs and some tables. Would go back again, greatlocal joint that uses fresh ingredients. Read more
Best SoCal Mex around. Had 4 tacos - carnitas and al pastor we?re my favorites. Hubby had a prima carne asada and he cleared his... plate. Small place with great ambiance. Live music on Fridays. Awesome specials. Friendly staff. Already planning my next visitand a 10 taco box! Read more
Food had no flavor. Had a burrito and they just dumped a ton of sour cream in it. Friend had a burrito too and the meat was... awfully tough and tasteless. Not worth the money at all. Read more
