I normally find Culver's a great location to find consistently good food with friendly staff in a clean environment. While... traveling I visited this restaurant, The food wasn't that great this time, seemed like it was lacking love? Because theemployees looked and acted like they didn't want to be there. This place is always busy but they have a hard time getting orders right. I had a mobile order that I put in and chose a time... of 30 minutes to go pick it up. I still waited 20 minutes at the place after my pick up time and they still forgot items in myorder. Ordering one meal there is never a problem but once you get 2 or more, confusion abounds... Overall a good resteraunt. Every time I go the food is great and the cook times are reasonable. My only negative thing I have to... say is that the burgers leave something to be desired. I'd suggest adding a couple extra condiments and something salty with anybutter purchased. Staff generally are nice but I have had a couple encounters with ones who don't have the whole "I'm happyhere" look but those encounters were mainly near closing and in the drive through. Having worked late night drive through for awhile I understand that feeling and it does get some sympathy from me. The best things that I have had there so far are thespicy chicken sandwich and the chicken tenders. The flavor of the chicken there is unmatched and this has remained true eversince my childhood. To summarize the chicken is good and the burgers are left wanting. 10/10 will visit whenever I am in thearea. Read more
My husband is a disabled Veteran. He has gone to the same Culvers since it opened many time and has always received a Veteran... discount of 10%. Tonight we stopped in and the girl at the register argued that they have never offered a Veteran discounteven though my husband told her he has always received one after producing his Vet ID. When she asked for the money - anoutrageous $24 and change for two burgers, fries and drinks I told her I would like to talk to the manager first. She wentaround to where the other employees were and a BOY came out meekly claiming they don't give Vet discounts. He had noidentification on him and did not introduce himself to us. He couldn't raise his eyes to look at us. There is NO WAY this boywas the manager. Clearly a liar. A manager would have ID and confidence as well as an explanation as to why the discount hadbeen given for YEARS and was suddenly denied. It is insulting to be lied to and to have children pretend they are managers andalso lie. We have also found that you have to use a large wad of napkins in order to soak up the amount of grease in theirburgers and cod. Really gross. Another issue is that there were probably close to a dozen employees but the counters where youget beverages and condiments was wet and dirty and when I put my foot down to stand up my foot slipped on the greasy floor. Toomany children milling around the work area not to have a clean facility. They used to have a great reputation but not any more. Too many teens without a clue behind the counter. Didn't give spoons,napkins & had to ask repeatedly for them. My large soup was... only halfway in the cup. The kids just walking around in a daze. We went inside to order & I am thinking the drive thru mighthave been better. They seemed very overwhelmed. Read more
