John and Kara were absolutely wonderful tonight! After going to college all day and needing a dinner I went to waffle house... expecting the same service the same mess and disorganization but this time the reasurant was clean the staff was on top ofeverything made sure everyone's orders were correct and John was very patient with me while I ordered knowing I was burnt out.They made sure I got exactly what I wanted for the best price and even gave me a water while I waited for my order to be ready.John also told me about the waffle house sauce which I did not know existed and gave me some to take with me I am very excitedto try. Kara cooked the food to perfection and was patient with me when she asked me a question about how I wanted my food. The waitress made it our problem that another waitress had left. On top of that she overcharged my Dad by 5 bucks. Not to... mention the time before he had gotten a dirty mug the time before(only he didn't know bc it was in the bottom and it was fullof coffee which he drank and the discovered). It was only bc I love the waffle with peanut butter chips he went. We will Notgo back to eagle Drive location. Read more

Moral of this story- if this location has more than one table sat? expect to wait 30 plus minutes to even get acknowledged, and... after all that your meal won?t be right the first time around. Tonight was my LAST straw with this location. Upon walking in,there were two tables that were close to being done, a guy alone at the bar, and a group of four waiting for a table. Meanwhileevery table in the place was dirty. Instead of cleaning, the two ladies that were working were chit chatting. Finally after15-20 minutes they started slowly cleaning. I ended up asking if I could just do my order to go. The lady told me to give her 5minutes. She went and checked on her one table and then proceeded to chit chat with the cook. Finally, I got my order in (it wasthe only one the cook had at the time.) nothing crazy, just an all star meal. It came out wrong. I told them the correction. Itshould?ve only taken 2 minutes to remake the eggs. Instead I stood there for 10 while the rest of my meal got cold. Probably one of the worst experiences at a Waffle House I?ve ever had. None of the tables were clean, took forever to get our... order, and forget about refills. You?re better off bringing a 2 liter bottle of whatever you want to drink and share it withyour family. They have about 5-7 people here, but they might as well have none, cause they are just joking and laughing andcounting how much tip they got that day, instead of taking care of the customers. Not Open 24 Hours! This Waffle House makes good food and all that, but it is also the only Waffle House I?ve ever seen that... actually closes?despite being advertised as open 24 hours. Add to that the fact that they seem to close the place down atrandom, so you never know if it?s gonna be open or closed. Who ever heard of such a thing? I?m sure they have their reasons(covid etc) but it?s still quite annoying. Read more
