It has been about 2 years since my last visit due to covid and previous agent issues with Steak n Shake. I went thru drive thru... and ordered the #1 combo. What a great surprise the burger was delicious, fries hot and crispy, shake was perfect. I went tosame restaurant the next day for lunch and re-ordered the same meal, and burger was Luke warm, fries were Luke warm. I didn'teven eat it. It's still in my truck to return to them! If I coud give a negative 5 stars i would. My boyfriend who i call my husband went to the drive thru last night ordered food. We... live 5 min away and everything was cold and soggy from grease. My front passanger seat was covered in grease from the bag. Mybuns were soggy and fries were cold. My bf buger had only pickles on it when we asked for only lettuce and tomato and it was notmade correctly at all, frisco mely was not cut and had a dab of sauce on both melts, my 2 milkshakes were halfway blended, theshake base was not blended through correctly. I used to work at steak n shake for over 6 years. I know how things should be madeand they were not made how it was supposed to. I spoke to the manager i believe was names watson and i called my boyfriend myhusband and he was saying well which is it, does it really matter.... i told him my issue, my boyfriend also had an allergy theydid not care about. He is allergic to pickles. The manager said he has been there for 9 month and has had no negative reviewsever. Which he obviously doesnt look at them. Manager told me i might or might not get a refund on my food that was madeincorrectly. Very rude and disrespectful. Do not eat here unless you want nasty food made and terrible service!!! Read more
Had an amazing experience here! The kiosk is very easy to use for ordering, the food comes out fast and fresh, and customer... service was top notch. Every child that comes in is immediately given a paper hat and a cardboard cutout that you fold into acar. The food was quick and decent enough. But it was so strange walking up on a Friday evening and there being one customer eating... inside. It all felt apocalyptic. We didn't even think we could eat inside at first. It was so vacant. No person takes your orderanymore. It's all on a screen. You go get your food when your number is called. No more classic shake cups. It was just a veryodd experience at a retro diner. Like we stepped into the apocolyptic future. Read more

I don?t think I?ve ever left a review on anything but we just visited here tonight- and left with 10 fries in a Dixie cup and a... completely plain, bone dry, double steak burger. It was almost a little funny and not normally something I?d care to complainabout, but considering their prices have only gone up I?d at least appreciate some ketchup on a burger?? We called and wereessentially just told it was our fault because we ?didn?t say we wanted anything on the burger?- however I know I specifiedeverything besides tomatoes. Just not a place I?d recommend if you actually want your money?s worth or a decent meal. Read more
