This place exceeded our expectations. We ended up coming here last minute. Multiple restaurants in downtown Woodstock were... closed on Mondays. We were so glad we found this place. We had a wonderful dinner here. We asked our waitress what sherecommended and we took her suggestion. We ordered the red swordfish, with mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts as well asanother entree. Absolutely delicious. For dessert we ordered the Bourbon bread pudding and chocolate cake. Both were tasty andrich. Inside the restaurant it is very modest. Nothing fancy. Menus, tables and chairs are a bit dated. But the food andservice definitely make up for it. We already plan to come back here again and keep this place as one of our go-to restaurants. Read more
I come to this side of town for work occasionally and kept seeing this restaurant come up on my time-line so I made a quick... reservation for two. It is located on Main Street, an area that has multiple restaurants and shops. Since it's is March andraining there was no time to browse the area. We were seated quickly and ordered appetizers and drinks. Very good! Daughter hadthe crabcake and she enjoyed it. For the entre I had grilled salmon with green bean and Mac n cheese, she ordered the scallops,risotto, and fries. Fries are shoestring so they get cold quickly. The mac n cheese and green beans were good. If you are inthe area I highly suggest this seafood restaurant. Although it wasn't busy when we arrived, I suggest that you makereservations. I've walked by this place so many times before and was very curious. My family noticed they have a Sunday brunch and we finally... came out to it....we were thoroughly impressed! The restaurant itself is pretty modest inside: not much in decor and the seatsare a bit old, but they make up for that with exceptional service and AMAZING dishes. Though they are a seafood restaurant,we've had a bunch of stuff from their brunch menu that ranged from seafood to other items. The chorizo omelette was absolutelydelicious. My sister had the salmon and we were dying over their grits and the flavors in them! (So much so, I had to order aside of them!) I even had a some bagel with lox here and it was delicious and fresh. My mom ordered a side of gumbo and it's themost authentic Louisiana style gumbo I've had in Georgia so far. To make it even better they have bottomless mimosas at a GREATprice!!! We now love going here for brunch and next we definitely wanna check out dinner service. Read more
Wonderful restaurant great staff and the food was amazing. Jackie our server was a wondeful, attentive, humble and kind server.... She really knew her menu and knowledge of the Food and Beverage Industry. The food was hot, fresh, and the wait wasn't long. Ihad a reservation for 8pm. However my guest and I were able to be seated a few minutes earlier which was great. I definitelywill be back this is a very cozy atmosphere with great food and drinks. Give it a try! You will not regret it. Chef Stevenawesome job with your Kitchen, Menu selections, plating presentations, portion sizes and staff. BOH keep up that awesomeculinary work. With our daughter visiting from Texas we wanted to have a nice meal out. Our son recommended Reel Seafood, said it was very... good. We decided to give it a try, and glad we did! I had the steak and eggs, the pepper crusted steak was cooked just right. The poached eggs were topped with a tasty sauce. My son had raw oysters and the lobster roll, he said they were good. Mydaughter enjoyed her shrimp grits. I had bread pudding for desert, the pudding was very good, but a little more rum sauce overit would have been better. Over all, very glad we decided to have brunch at Reel Seafood. Read more
I just have to say Stephanie is a great waitress and bar tender. Very well with her Detail about the menu and patient with... me since that was my first time, I needed to understand the good food on the menu. (The shrimp and grits) I love it.
