Food is mediocre at best and WAY over priced! I wanted a Texas Nacho?$18.95!!! When I get it at my regular place for $11. And... it was less meat and just terrible. I have eaten here twice and both times it featured as the worst Mexican food I have eaten in a very long time. I am a foodie at... heart and have eaten Mexican food all across the USA, including places like California and Texas. Los Bravos feels like arestaurant that has been left without care or concern by its owners for too long. The only good aspects of the food where therefried beans, which were from a can, and the Mexican Coca Cola, neither of which were prepared by the kitchen. On my last visitI had Enchiladas Verde, which lacked any sauce and had aged brown lettuce on top. I am not sure it would have passed healthinspection. The rice was mushy and so salty that it made my Corona taste like the rim of the glass was dipped in salt. My wifehad a soup that to say was tasteless is being kind. The restaurant features a beautiful patio that seems to be mostly closed -which is a shame. I also think it might be the only Mexican restaurant I have been to in recent memory that plays no music atall. The atmosphere was terrible. It is sad in a way because with the pictures of local sports teams on the entryway walls andthe awesome potential of the decor and patio, it seems this must have been a great place at some time in the past. Maybe it wasunder a different name or ownership. What is good at Los Bravos - the Margarita made fresh at the bar. I also thought theserver did a great job. Better than it used to be, I have been several years ago and was not that excited about meeting family and friends there... tonight. However, it has improved since I was last there the salsa was exceptionally hot, but that's probably because thejalapenos were in season. I don't think I have ever reviewed this restaurant but I would give it a few more stars than I wouldof in the past....good time was had by all until I learned the truth about natural grape flavoring at the afterparty......ugh!!!! I ordered Carne Asada Nachos. It literally had 6 chips. Also ordered a large chips and salsa. I received the small styrofoam of... salsa and a white small bag of chips. Will not be back!!!! Why did I go back!!!! Horrible service. Missing item. And paid$13.00 for 2 small bags of chips and a small salsa and a sample of salsa. If I could take back my 1 star I would. Read more

Love this place. Service is always fast and friendly and the quality of the food is very consistent. I?ve been to every Los... Bravos location in and around Atlanta and they are all great, but this one seems to always be the quickest to be seated and getsthe food out fast.
