My boyfriend and I had driven past this place last week and seen all the cars, so decided one night when we were in the mood for... pizza, that we would stop in later. Best decision ever! If you like thin, crispy pizza this is the place to come. The diningroom isn't anything super special, but it's cozy all the same. Rafael, the owner, is from Turkey, and he opened this place upfor his parents and himself. It is a family-owned and operated pizza joint, and you can feel that warmth when you walk in. I love NY Pizza is a little hole in the wall shop. Great pizza little pricier then i would expect for pizza but in this time... what isn't. The pizza was a close as you can get to home without it being home. Georgia just doest have the water. The owner isreally friendly very passionate about his craft. The only reason this place gets a 4 out of 5 is because they are closed onMondays. Major bummer when you want a slice after work. My issue not theres. But great service great food and great pizza. Our party of 7 rolled in on a Saturday night at 10:40 p.m. The owners were outside and inside cleaning with the open sign on.... They were so welcoming and ready to serve us. We were going to get it to go, but they encouraged us to stay. The family ownedbusiness is such a sweet, quaint spot and great for families. It is very clean and smells so good from the moment you walk inthe door. The pizza is amazing and the sauce...fresh and beyond delicious. It was my fourth time coming back since trying their Pizza, I?ve never had any other Pizzeria accommodate my order spot on,... light sauce, light cheese, slightly more than the sauce! This Pizzeria is our go to spot, I usually call in to order but this time decided to dine in. We ordered a large NY Deluxe... pizza, and it was delicious as usual. Wow! what a wonderful surprise!! My better half happen to see this place passing by so we decided to try it out! We ordered the... Deluxe pizza it was mouth watering delicious. Anthony the pizza chef was tossing the pizza dough as we walked in impressive! ourpizza had fresh toppings and crust was baked perfectly and just right amount of sauce. oh, we decided to try the garlic rollstoo!! awesome!! we will be ordering those again!! This was my first time ordering after driving by for quite some time. I have to say it shows promise. I have spent many many... years in the pie business evaluating products. The meat toppings had very good flavor the sauce is not an overpowering tomato orbasil sauce, its a very even flavor. The cheese is a very neutral flavored cheese. It does not have a bite or salty flavor andthis is one of my could do better. A better low moisture mozzarella on the pie would really help. The crust needs a little moresalt and proofing time but has a good gluten. The big miss was the cook the oven was too hot resulting in a dry bottom yet anunderdone crust, in fact doughy with an underdone top. If I was betting on it the oven needs calibrating. All in all its a goodpizza that could be better some things are preference some things are basics. Service was good both when I ordered on the phoneand when I picked up my order.
