Very VERY disappointing. The prices and portion sizes at the restaurant are different than on their website. When I mentioned... the difference, she said the prices on the website are 5 years old, although they updated their new address without aproblem. There's no reason for the prices not to be current. I got egg rolls, crab rangoon and orange chicken. The only thingnot going in the garbage is the crab rangoon. I have no idea how these people are in business. I just had to sign back in toupdate this. I just now tried to eat one of the Fortune cookies. They're stale. Unbelievable! Read more

Still take out only. Do not! I repeat do not use the menu on the website. They ?have a new owner? and cannot make changes to... their website at this time so the prices are much higher now and some things not offered any longer and they sub dishes withoutinforming you. Best to go in and order from their updated take out menu and wait (45 min) OR order through DoorDash for betterservice and more accurate menu and total charges. Food is still good but you will pay more than most other options in the areaand the ?new owner? does not like to be questioned or credit your ticket for what you thought you were paying?ordered dinner fortwo. 5 people in line while I waited tonight and all had issues with their orders but no way was she going to make anychanges. Kinda sad? and good luck! Read more

This restaurant used to be our favorite place to order Chinese food. Then it was sold by the very pleasant and gregarious couple... that owned the restaurant. And it immediately spiraled downward. Last night my wife tried to call 5 times to place a pick-uporder and no one answered. Then on the sixth attempt, someone did finally pick up, but then immediately disconnected the line. Iguess they don't want any business. Every time we go to eat in the restaurant, the staff is incredibly dismissive, rude, andaloof. The food quality itself immediately deteriorated once new ownership took over. The ironic thing is the quality is nowvery poor, yet the prices have skyrocketed. I understand the context of inflation, but the $11 menu item I previously ordered, now cost $18. In other words, the price point of the much poorer food quality has now risen roughly 35%. Needless to say, mywife and I will not be spending our hard-earned money in the future on a restaurant with impertinent, unpleasant, andill-mannered owners. Read more

I see why this place has a supposed 3.8 stars rating. If you look closely you will find numerous reviews that say 3 years ago, 4... years ago, 5 years ago which was when it was run by the original owners. Back then this was one of my all time favorite places. But reading all the current reviews, which would be since the new owners took over, I will never walk into this place again andlet it ruin a wonderful memory of what this place used to be. The original owners were so nice, extremely friendly, made youfeel like family. And the food was simply spectacular. I will not dishonor the memory of that wonderful family and theirwonderful food by going to this cheapened, poor version of what I know to be Happy China! Read more

The ambiance is that which is becoming of a lot of Chinese restaurants around. You walk in and there?s a whole family eating... noodles while their kids play in the corner quietly. Your not greeted by anyone except the hostess. I ordered fried dumplingsand Kung pao chicken. The dumplings were literally draining oil onto the plate and everywhere else, can you say strainer please. The Kung pao chicken was a bit on the salty side but overall not bad. Their fried rice was probably the best part of the wholeexperience. Oh and did I mention they?re under new ownership and it shows. Definitely miss the old Happy China. ???? Read more

We definitely will not be back. Our usual AMAZING Chinese restaurant (Shangri-la off Canton Rd) was closed for spring break. 26... dollars for 2 soft very small egg rolls that were no where near crunchy. This pretty generous size general chicken that wasntbad but wasn't great. And this super small not good house special fried rice. The shrimp tasted nasty I took all of it out. Theytasted so weird and fake. The meats just didn't have much flavor. And you get triple the amount of rice at our fav place vsthis. Since they were closed we hoped it was time to find a new place that actually delivered. (Shangri-la is out of range forus) but I'd gladly drive down Canton road than get this again. I'm not sure how they have over 4 stars Read more

Every single time we order from this place they seem to forget some part of our meal. If it isn?t the rice it?s the chicken. The... least they can do is apologize and take something off the tab but all they do is offer to bring the item(s) missing 15 minuteslater. I want my food to come all at the same time. It has happened 3 times now and we only order from here because our otherspot closed down. Time to find a place that won?t screw up your order. Update 2 hours later. After several promises of tellingme the rest of my food order was on the way. I had to drive over there and settle problem in person The owner is a mean, greedyold man who refused to give me a refund. Needless to say the police were called. Even though the police sided with me I only gothalf of my money back since it?s a civil matter. Please do not support this terrible establishment!!!! Read more
