Would have like to review this place? However, when we got there, even though the lady behind the counter, saw us come in pick... up a menu and she went into the back and never returned. We waited almost 10 minutes and decided we would not eat there. It?ssad because we have heard good things about this place but if you can?t even get them to take your order, there?s no tellingwhat?s going to happen after that. We opted for the Mexican place just two doors over and loved at the Mexican place. Try theMexican place 2 - frozen house margs are great and food and service are even better. It's been hard to find a good Chinese takeout restaurant. Glad I found Golden House! The vegetables they used were fresh, not... frozen, which makes a big difference in the dish. Unlike at other restaurants, the Mongolian beef was not too sweet and thefresh raw shredded cabbage in the dish added a nice crunch. Frided rice that was included with the dinner special was good butwould have been better if it included veggies. Read more
My family and I drive across town and pass several other Chinese restaurants to eat at this one. It?s the absolute best around,... and we have never been disappointed. The food is delish and the service is friendly and prompt. Highly recommend!! Update:Still the best Chinese restaurant in all of Cherokee County! We just moved to the Woodstock area and found Golden House the night we closed on our house. It?s FANTASTIC. We have lived in... the heart of Atlanta for the past 6 years and the serving sizes at Golden House are double what we are used to. We got thedinner to go for their ?3 person special? and ate on it for 3 days. We will be regular customers for years to come. Read more

First time after moving here and won't be going back. Ordered the dinner for two and an order of potstickers. The potstickers... and beef were cold, as in "refrigerated cold." I called, and Penny said they would give me these two items free next time.However, the fried rice was "mushy" with no veggies or egg. The crab ragoon filling lacked crab but was heavy on the creamcheese. The chicken lacked flavor. This was simply the worst Chinese food experience we have ever had. We won't be going back toget the food credited to us. Sooo disappointing. Had hoped to have found our go-to Chinese restaurant in our new town. Read more
