I came in with an open mind hoping the bad reviews weren?t true because I had just gone to another Firehouse in AL. The one AL... was amazing, this one, not so much. My coworker and I ordered lunch here. My sandwich at least had the correct fixings, but the bread was so stale that it was hard... as a rock. It was like trying to choke down a mouthful of saltine crackers with no water. Her sandwich was ordered with extrapepper jack cheese and NO mayonnaise. Instead, they slathered the sandwich in mayonnaise and did not include any pepperjackcheese which she paid extra for. When she called the store they asked her to bring the sandwich back, and they would remake itfor her. She drove all the way back over there, and then they told her they could not remake the sandwich because it would "costtoo much for them". Read more
I got the hook and ladder and it made me very ill. It took me a few days to recover. Not sure what they could?ve done wrong with... this sandwich but it was nonstop barf city. The place was pretty dirty and there were hand prints all over the glass door, theyobviously hadn?t cleaned it in weeks much less sanitize in the middle of a COVID wave. It's a subs joint. No big deal. Prices are just a tad much, but if I had to choose between this and Subway? Firehouse every... time, for me. The staff on duty that night were all college kids, and to their credit they actually made it fun. One wasdesperately trying to figure out how to close a sandwich that had far too much meat, while another cracked puns nonstop, and thethird quietly did her work with a warm smile. Read more
I normally love Firehouse subs but this franchise in store is absolutely awful. The food quality is terrible the past three... times that I've come here and I've come to terms with the fact that even though I love the subs the people that work hereobviously don't care about their jobs. Been in the restaurant industry a long time and I don't usually want to report things tothe corporate office but this place needs to definitely be reported. Order a hook and ladder fully involved and basically gotthe meat cheese a couple of wilted pieces of lettuce some strands of onion skin and 13 lb of mayo. Absolutely disgusting. First they had order wrong. Had to go back 7 moles traffic called told the guy I got the wrong sandwich.could he have the right... one ready meatball fully engulfed. This is the dryed up sandwich he forgot to give me the first time. Cold dry and terrible.Never again will I give you another try. I quit coming there bc of your quality. I'm not sure who owns this location but a call would be most helpful so if you can reply I can better explain. 1. We walked in... the place was filthy so I went back to the car to get sanitizing wipes, had to clean the table and chairs. At first I figuredthey were short. They weren't. There were 4 people there. 2. We both ordered club on a sub, they steamed them however bothsandwiches were cold Luke warm at best. 3. While eating a flying object comes out of no where. We quickly realized it wasmustard. Not sure what happened, if it burst or an employee dropped it but it went everywhere including our food and clothes.4.At no point did anyone co e to talk to us but a young lady did come to clean when she realized what happened and she apologize.The manager and the other gentleman working were mute. We were headed to meet friends so of course we just got up and left bc itwas clear they don't want customers. Neither of us had our phones inside but I wish we did. Tried to overcharge for extra meat then serve me reduced meat when I asked the manager how much double meat costs. Got a medium... Italian. Ask for double meat and the one sandwich alone was $18. The cashier was trying to charge me $3 for ham, another $3 forpepperoni, and another $3 for salami. I told him that was wrong and he said "no it isnt". When I opened my sandwich I found thatthey had not even included the ham. Just a thin layer of pepperoni and salami. I will never return Read more
