I shouldn’t have to feel like maybe I got re heated food from someone else???? I got wings and fries. They were all cut into... the smaller parts of the wings (in total there was like 2 1/5 wings) and as I was eating them one of them that was cut weird,like almost in half, had hot sauce on them, which I never use. I wonder if these were recycled wings left over from someoneelse. Read more
The food is good. The service is quick. And delivery’s also arrive quite fast. My favorite Chinese restaurant.
I had been craving for some Chinese Szechuan food and this was highly recommended. A bit pricy for chicken and broccoli with... brown rice but then again I ate 3 times from it. Not so pricy after all and very tasty. I give it a 4 because it was my firsttime. Will try another dish and repost. Stay tuned and looking forward to ordering again. Read more
Way over priced with low quality food. Ordered Braised Pork Bone with Soy Sauce and Stew Trotters in Special Chili Sauce. The... pork bone has nearly zero meat, unlike the same dish i ordered at other Chinese restaurants. The trotter was uncleaned and superhairy... will not come again. Read more
My review of this restaurant may be a bit bias considering I grew up just across the street from it but nonetheless, here it is.... Delicious! Even after all these years, New Szechuan House is still to me, one of the best Chinese take-out or dine-inrestaurants out there. Extremely affordable and owned and operated by the same family for over 25 years, your dining experiencehere is everything but glamorous. The establishment only has three tables and doesn't have the most luxurious settings but hasthe most amazing menu items. I have not once been disappointed with my order. Granted the menu items are generic and can befound at any Chinese restaurant but New Szechuan House definitely stands out amongst the best in New York City. I've lived inBrooklyn for the last 15 years and still trek it out to Woodside just to eat there chicken and broccoli. This restaurant ishighly recommended and will not disappoint. Read more
When people say "great food," it's totally subjective. So let me put it this way. I got the sliced chicken and broccoli, and all... the chicken was whatever part of the chicken that's all tough and rubbery and you can't chew it and you can't cut it with aknife and just gross and offensive to my textural and culinary sensibilities. The rice was bland and dry. If that's 'great food'to you then you'll enjoy this place. Everyone has different standards so far be it from me to pass judgement. You may enjoy thatand that's your preference. But I'm just putting it out there. My cat seemed to like it. Then again he likes cat food andwhatever live birds he can catch. They've been in the neighborhood for at least 20 years. They're hard working and nice. Justnot my preference food-wise. Read more
I love the people there, they are a hard working family that makes great food and delivers in rain, sleet, or snow. I've Been... ordering for as long as I can remeber.. 100% satisfied with the food which is always consistent in size and flavor. P.s. and iconsider myself friends with the staff/owner and their family, very nice people with good food who cook with love and cleanhands. what more could you ask for? 10/10 stars P.S. their home made iced tea/sweat tea is great on a nice hot day and ormeal..good prices too!
