The lady who took my order completely messed it up. I spoke to the manager asking to have the correct order made and he was... trying to make me pay for their mistake. I then told him I expected to have my food delivered as it was inconvenience to leaveagain as my family was trying to eat dinner. He said he could not do that. After som arguing over the phone he agreed to pay for1 of my orders. I said this is not my fault and he should accommodate the meal?s. He said ma?am do you want me to close my doorsdown. I said maybe you should hire competent people to work for you. He then agreed to comp my meal but did ask for the wrongmeal in return. Really? What are you going to do with that food? First visit to the Aurelio's Woodridge location. Had enjoyed great pizza and service in the past at other locations. Arrived 5... minutes early and paid for my small thin crust pizza which was the only item that I ordered. Downhill from there... Ownersubsequently couldn't find my order even though his employee previously had no difficulty. I explained that I had already paidthe previous employee who had no problem locating my single item order. Owner (Marty M.) yelled, "that doesn't help me find theorder". Owner (Marty M.) told me I must be at the wrong location. Finally Marty handed me out two individual pizzas which wasthe wrong order. I explained this wasn't what I ordered and he yelled back "I'm only human". It turns out that my single pizzaorder was indeed ready 25 minutes earlier and was now cold as it had just been sitting out while the owner and five employeesstood around. Actually one employee wasn't just standing around, this young man in a black t-shirt was practicing his dancingin the food preparation area. Really bad overall. The pizza itself was fine, not what we ordered but whatever, still fine. Also ordered two pastas which... didn?t come until after we were finished with our pizza. I went up and asked about how much longer on the pastas and she justsaid ?we?re making them? in a super rude tone. Finally got them and the meatball was cold. No silverware, asked for silverwareand after 5 minutes it wasn?t there so I went up and asked for two silverware and she just said ?yeah he?s bringing them? againwith an attitude. Got the silverware and there was a hair stuck to it. I?m assuming other Aurelio?s are better than this one,but honestly there are thousands of pizza spots in the Chicagoland area and tons better than this place. Read more
Aurelios is the best thin crust pizza, in my opinion. I haven't found a pizza I don't like. Frozen, cheap, top of the line, deep... dish, thin, I love them all! I have struggled to name a favorite, as they are all diff and great in their own way. Then I hadAurelios. The sauce is a tad bit sweet, crust is crispy and the ingredients are very fresh. It all just comes together and Ihave officially named my favorite as Aurelios. Read more
Aurelios is one of my top 5 pizza places. It truly is in the sauce. You see the greed I have for them by the half eaten pizza... picture. I always have to limit myself because it is so good. They didn't disappoint this time either with the extra sauce. Igot a Ceasar salad this time as well. I wasn't too impressed with the grilled chicken Buffalo pieces i had added. I expectedthem to be warm, but they were cold and i thought it would be crunchy/fried. Their dressing was more of a vinegarette type ofCeasar which was still good. We stopped in tonight for gluten free Alfredo chiken pizza and gluten free sausage pizza and salad. Very big for gluten free pie... both suaces were superb and the salad was tasty. They goofed on the salad and had to remake it without croutons It was yummy.The manager gave us the salad for free to men things right and a gift card for a return visit. He treated us very well.
