Best falafel in L.A! The Wedding Sauce is brutally spicy but very addictive.

Is the Woodland Hills location part of the real Tel Aviv Grill in Encino or is it just a franchise? We usually go to the Encino... location which is unbelievable. The food is always delicious and the quantity is abundant. The falafel balls are big and cookedto perfection. Since we live in Agoura we went to the Woodland Hills location for convenience. BAD IDEA!!!!!! First of all, itseemed like the only concern of the employees was to throw the food in a bag fast and get you out of their face as quickly aspossible. It didn't matter that not everything (like pita) made it into the sack or there were four pickle slices in thecontainer or the tahini was not even enough to cover a slice of shwarma, they were fast and could win a championship for thefastest bag packers in the west. We also ordered falafel. The balls looked like they were samples instead of $0.75 each. Alsoinsult to injury, they were burned. This plus the fact that some of the salad had the added flavor of cleaning fluid and no pitawas included left us wondering why we didnt just go to McDonalds. Read more

If you close at 8... And people are waiting in line to order before 8... But you take so long on one customer that it passes... 8... Then tell the people in line the second it hits 8 that they can't order food anymore? Terrible business. I've heard greatthings about the food, but I can't see a reason to go back. Read more

Great chicken shawarma simply isn't enough. I was there with my sister on Monday, and we waited 40 minutes for lunch. She said... "never again," but I chose to give them another chance, this time ordering pickup via Postmates. It didn't go very well. Due tothem (and me) being in Woodland Hills, there is zero chance of me placing an order in Encino. That location doesn't even come uphere in Google Maps. Yet they insisted my Postmates pickup order was placed at the other location. They refused to help, sayingI had to do it via the Postmates app. From their location; however, the signal is non-existent and I was not able to connect tothe app. I was not refunded for their error. To the owner: When you charge $20 a sandwich and have a ridiculous wait time forlunch, perhaps your employees should use "please" and "thank you" instead of attitudes. Read more
