Lovebug Pizza is right next to a Starbucks that I frequent, so I chanced on it the day it opened. I have celiac, so I have only... tried their gluten-free and grain-free crusts. Gluten free bread is generally disgusting, so my expectations were low. Lovebug's version of gluten-free was a very pleasant surprise: it is actually quite good. First of all, this pizza is absolutely delicious and the ingredients are fresh and top notch. I've gotten addicted to the paleo... veggie pizza, even gone paleo for my diet as a result. Last night, I called in a pickup order, a paleo pizza and a pepperonipizza for my husband and son. They told me that they were out of the vegan cheese for my pizza and wouldn't have it until thenext day. I was so disappointed, but said they could make it anyway, cheeseless, and I'd use my own vegan cheese at homebecause the rest is so delicious. To my surprise, when my son cam back with the pizzas, mine was covered with the vegancheese--one of the employees had run out to a local market and bought the same brand of cheese that they use just to make mypizza! Now that is service! So if you are put off a bit by the prices--the pizzas are not cheap--know that you are getting, andpaying, for the best!! Read more
