I've only been to Portillo's a couple of times, I don't live near them. Today, I ordered a cheese burger. This sloppy burger was... dripping juices all over. I needed a handful of paper towels to keep my hand and face looking presentable. I'll be honest, Iloved it! This beast burger was loaded with flavor and I could barely finish it because it was so filling. Looks like a lot ofother fun things to try on the menu. The atmosphere gets an A+. It has been a while since we stopped in here. My son and I stopped in for an early dinner. The place was practically empty. I... ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and my son ordered the hotdog meal. The food was fine, nothing super exciting, but not any bigcomplaints. The price for a sandwich and hotdog seemed pretty steep, but it does seem like prices have gone up everywhere. Very clean, bright and cool looking place to eat in...the staff was helpful from the moment I arrived to retrieve my door dash... order. Because the order had been waiting for pickup a while before I received the notification, the malted had melted. Thevery nice young lady offered to remake it before I left and before I even had to ask her. She came back promptly with a newmalt and a smile on her face. Thank you ???? Read more
The food is definitely good! We?ve never had a incorrect order here and the atmosphere inside is very cool if you choose to dine... in. Plan to wait a bit if you do pick up but really, no big deal! The food seems a bit overhyped BUT still worth going to ifyou?ve never been or are in the mood for a good hot dog. The salad was impressive for being fast food. The cheese sauce is amust with with the fries for sure. Also, the chicken tenders will be my go to over other fast food places near by. But overallnot quite five star quality. Visited several times in Chicago area. So happy to have a Portillo?s closer to home. Italian beef, hotdogs and shakes. Cake... shakes are to die for and will probably what literally kills me. Great food and great atmosphere. Definitely on the pricey side,but worth it when you?re looking to treat yourself every once in a while. Read more
