Reviews for O'Malley's Irish Pub in Woodbury, MN
Great food nice atmosphere The bacon appetizer could have been a little bit crispier but it was good
Restaurant atmosphere is ok depending on what time you go. Food is not so good and the sandwich we had was pretty... dry. Recommended to go there is you want to have good vibes and drinks . Read more
Solid happy hour specials. $4 draft options and cheap tenders.
Good beer. Nice atmosphere.
We got a couple apps and a salad during happy hour. The food was really good when I was expecting generic bar food. We will... definitely go back again Read more
Went for lunch and had a very nice meal, nice service. Very funny place with a great personality to it. Definitely not a budget... option but prolly fair for location, portions and price pressures they are prolly facing. Will be back. Read more
Very good burgers and crispy, flaky fish and chips. Warm and cozy too, with a friendly staff! Very nice!
O'Malley's is very centrally located and super easy to get to. The atmosphere is great. For example, the booths have high backs... to emulate the traditional Irish pubs. They had sports on all their TV's and the crowd was laid-back and easy going. Our serverwas top notch. Not just nice and attentive but also cared about what was going on. The food on the other hand was a whole otherissue. We had the Sheppard's Pie and the Chicken McCorney (a chicken sandwich with sliced corned beef on top). We'll go fromthe easiest to the... yeah. The Chicken McCorney had way too much bun. The corned beef was well flavored but really stringy. The chicken itself was moist. The fries (that came with the sandwich) were lukewarm. Then the prepackaged Ketchup package wassuper sticky, like something had been spilled all over it and this "something" was now touching the food. Not gonna lie, kindagrossed me out. As far as this particular entree goes, I wouldn't get it again nor recommend it. To be honest, I didn't finishit. The Sheppard's Pie was not ok. The vegetables in it were mushy. And not only that, after looking at them, there were (nojoke) lima beans in there. So these were frozen, bagged vegetables. There was nothing fresh about them. The potatoes were fine. But the rye bread had a greasy feel about it and had a flavor of old, used fryer grease. Not sure why it was that way as it'sbread and not fried. The Sheppard's Pie was extremely disappointing, especially for the price. We ate about a quarter of it andjust couldn't finish it. We did speak with the manager, who was very friendly, nice and accommodating, which was greatlyappreciated. I'd recommend going here a pint and bump (whiskey). Their service is great. But I wouldn't go here for a dinningexperience. I hope this helps. Cheers. Read more
