Customer service was wonderful! I went there today to purchase a gift card for a friends birthday when my card declined. I tried... Apple Pay, the physical card, and even punching in the numbers manually and nothing worked. The cashier, Kaitlyn, was verypatient and understanding. I was very embarrassed as I had no clue why my card was declining (I haven?t had that issue before),and I believe Kaitlyn noticed that because she made a joke to ease the awkwardness. Customer service is horrible. I waited at the counter for 5 minutes while two (2) employees basically ignored me. They appeared... to be starting a sandwich that I had not ordered. One employee appeared to be overseeing the other. Perhaps he was training theother; not sure. Nevertheless, they paid me absolutely no attention (as I was the only customer in line). I then moved towardsthe cashier (thinking someone else would help me). I was then told the start of orders were in front of the two (2) employeesthat already ignored me. After losing all our Potbelly locations in Canada, it was nice to experience after so many years. I tried the Cubano, the Wreck... and the Steakhouse Beef. The Wreck for the win but all 3 were delicious. Read more
Italian sandwich was great. Staff friendly. No wait. The only issue I had was that they were out of Dr pepper in the fountain... machine. The staff offered me a choice of drinks instead but were unable to change it. Overall a great experience. Read more
I used to go a lot to potbelly in D.C and used to enjoy it. I m not sure what?s the main problem here. Every time I go here I am... disappointed no matter what I order. They don?t always make the sandwiches carefully and they came out poor quality kinda often. They get a late lunch rush that is... best to completely avoid. I ordered with the app on sunday and they had a sign on the door when i arrived to pickup my ordersaying they had closed for the day. (My order had already been charged to my card) The app says to call the store directly ifthere is an issue with your order, but they never picked up the phone. When i finally made it back to the store they offered mea free sandwich and said that refunds had already been issued. However, I never did receive that refund. Read more
Made an online order, brought it home, took a bite and realized it was the wrong sandwich. Even had a different name on the... receipt. Called and manager said only thing that could be done, was to go back and get the right one. That?s an inconvenience tothe customer. This is the second time my order wasn?t correct, I let the first time slide. Maybe have a set up so the customergets their next sandwich free.
