Menu for Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken in Woodbridge, VA

Just had the pleasure of going to this restaurant. The food was delicious. We order medium spice level and it was just the right... amount of spicy. The management was very nice and food was made fresh. The chicken was cooked just right. The only suggestion Ihave is that the sanwiches need a little bit extra rooster sauce since the chicken piece is so big so it needs more sauce. Wehad a very good experience. Read more

This place is the closest I\'ve had to authentic Nashville Hot Chicken.\n\nThe spice was hot in the hot chicken, and the chicken... was seasoned well. The fact that they have a waiver for the extra hot, I can see why.\n\nThe service was fantastic, and theowners (husband and wife) made me feel like this could be a routine spot.\n\nI wasn\'t as much of a fan of the fries becausethey seemed to be breaded, but they were hot even when I came just 30 mins before closing.\n\nThe place was clean, including thebathroom, so all in all, it was well worth it.\n\nUpdate 29 Nov\nI went back to this amazing establishment last night. I orderedthe chicken sandwich this time in mild with cheese on the side for my fries and let me tell you it was amazing!\n\nThe food wasperfectly seasoned and hot. It was fresh the breaded fries are 15 times better when you have cheese sauce for dipping.\n\nI ampretty sure they make homemade pickles. If they don?t they certainly taste like they are homemade and are fantastic.\n\nWhat wasmore impressive than the food was the service. I experienced a minor issue with my bread being a bit over toasted . In fact, Ionly brought it to the attention of an owner just so that consistency would be made going forward, but I still enjoyed mysandwich.\n\nThe owner asked me if I wanted something else after having completed most of my sandwich I politely declinedbecause it was so good. The owner insisted on making me something to make up for the misstep with the bread, and I must say itis this type of quality control and passion for delivering customer service at the highest level that sets this place apartfrom others.\n\nTwo visits in a total of 14 days and I have officially said this will be a routine spot for me not only becauseof the chicken, but because of the service. I got the no heat chicken sando, no heat chicken fingers, and Korean soy garlic nuggets and waffle fries to go. All the chicken... we got was crunchy with great flavor & fries were also good; even my picky toddlers loved it!
