Good juicy chicken but the jerk chicken has a sweet bbq type flavour which I didn?t enjoy. Overall not authentic.
Pros: Food is great, the young man and older gentleman that work there are so courteous and provide excellent customer... service Cons: The lady that works there is rude (went more than once, same miserable attitude, super unprofessional). Theportion of pasta salad you get with the oxtail platter is tiny, when I asked POLITELY if this was the portion for four ppl thelady started carrying on, luckily the older gentleman graciously gave me one more. Customer service across the board isimportant, for this reason I would not be comfortable recommending. Read more
Best Jamaican food in town!!! I?ve been here a few times already and they never let me down.. food has always been tasty and... fresh. I?ve recommended many people here and have all said the same thing about this amazing place. Best decision we made deciding to randomly order from here. You know it's good eats when the first thing out of your kids mouth... is "When can we eat this again??" OCHAs is seriously not playing when it comes to flavour. Every single one of their dishes wasseasoned to perfection, just jam-packed with savoury, sweet, spicy goodness it's unreal. The oxtail platter is one of the bestthings Ive eaten in my life - meat is fall off the bone tender and we were licking gravy off our plates. Plantains and jerk area ticket to heaven. I'd eat the entire damn menu in one go if I had 2 stomachs. We've eaten at basically every restaurant inVaughan and this is top 3 EASY. My dad never tried jamaican food before but now he's obsessed. plus super friendly staff, eventhough there was a line of people waiting for their order - total local gem, EVERYONE needs to try it. Okay I don't usually write a review, but when I do, the food gotta be out of this world! When I say the flavors are phenomenal,... I mean all your senses gets awakened with every bite! And the dish I am talking about are 2 that I tried and that is the Chef'salfredo pasta woth shrimp and salmon and the other dish is the half chicken jerk chicken plate with the pasta side.
