Would have definitely been a 5 star rating if the front of the house staff cracked a smile sometimes. We went September 5th... around 3:45pm. The hostess was just bitter looking and her attitude matched. And we seen that through the glass doors evenbefore entering. She seemed bothered to be standing there just waiting for customers. No greeting, NO SMILE, don’t think shecould even if she tried. Her demeanour was so off putting we almost left and went across the parking lot to another restaurantbut my daughter really wanted to come here, since we are from out of town and do not have one in our area. She knows how I feelabout customer service and it was horrible first impression. She’s the first face you see and I would have rather of seatedourselves and not seen her face. She then passes us off to another “hostess” who was just as unfriendly as the first one.They don’t even talk to you, like they grunt and refuse to look at least unbothered. They both looked so miserable it actuallyruined our experience at first. We were so worried the actual server was going to be just as rude but Luna was a delight! Shewas courteous, FRIENDLY, knowledgeable on the menu AND SHE SMILED! Made us feel welcome! Trust and believe if it was for Lunathis was going to be a 1 star review. I ordered a mushroom burger with a beer cheese soup, we also go the wonton nachos, panbread, another burger, truffle fries and another beer cheese soup, chicken tenders and sweet potato fries. The soup is amazing!Almost made me forget about the miserable “hostesses”! So good we took some to go as well! The burgers were well done andthe chicken tenders were def fresh and homemade. Would I go back? Maybe, Luna showed us not everyone at this location ismiserable and that cheese soup is def worth it ! Read more
It’s too bad to see what Jack astor’s has come down to! This specific location has been an all-time favourite, but we’ve... been disappointed lately, on multiple visits! Starting from the smell once you walk into the dine-in area (not the lounge), astrange rotten mold odour instantly strikes you! To their servers who seem to get worse at every visit..wrong orders, lack ofmenu knowledge, slow, not friendly, you name it! Terrible serving staff! To the actual flavours of what used to be a greatmenu! It tastes like nothing! It seems like many businesses have started cutting corners, unfortunately this majorly affectsthis location! Read more
Amazing service at this location, very friendly and attentive. Steak was cooked as ordered and the burgers were amazing as... always. There were several types of burgers but the menu made it difficult to distinguish the difference, it seemed like themore premium burgers were a significant increase in price for minor upgrades (like from a regular brioche bun to a sesame bun). Overall a pleasant experience, comfortable environment and exceptional service (at the bar where I was seated). Woulddefinitely visit again. Read more
The food was great, as always. Jack Astor's tends to be pretty consistent with delicious food. The service was really, really... poor. Our whole section was served by someone named Marla. She was really unfriendly and seemed to disappear for long periods oftime and then reemerge acting like she's busy. Every table in my section (5 tables) had to get up to get their own cutlery, wecouldn't find her for drinks, the bill, water, or take out containers. Every other member of staff seemed to be nice except thisone. I would go for the food but I wouldn't expect much if you're looking for date night or a special occasion. Read more

It was busy when we went. Approx 5min wait for the bar area and about 15-20min for the dining area. Food is awesome. Customer... service is also awesome. I am currently fasting from meat and I love their Thai curry bowl with tofu. They also have the bestbruschetta. Pop was not stale either.
